Number one reason to buy a big car; it doesnīt matter how many airbags your car has if itīs small and caught in between two trucks. You need a big car with good crash zones, the guy I talked about had a Volvo 740. No airbags and while itīs not the biggest car out there, still what saved him was the carīs size.

*places order on Humvee*

Volvos also have a steel roll cage around their passenger compartment if I'm not mistaken in my memory of the ads they used to have for them.

OH! I was right, here is a picture of it! :

Thereīs no doubt in anyone who knows about what happened to him that if he had been in a smaller car, he wouldnīt be alive today..

I did the best I could with what materials I have in reach. If I could find a way to cut this down to size....

Anyway, I did this little project for the ongoing RP we've got going on. I figured it needed a little love. Like I said, I made this with what materials I have in reach, and those materials were an iPhone and a nifty little app I DL just for this. I apologize if this seems an "Uleni peacocking" and the size makes it a little awkward to look at BUT. What do you guys think? Is it doable and good enough?

I considered using Darkest Dungeon for a while but it was a little cartoony. But yeah, I agree with you that making posters for the RPs we're in is a lot fun; it makes it more alive and authentic and all that stuff. The only thing we need now is a theme song and we're set!

I have theme songs for all the RPGs I've run as well. Works so far are:

Land Under Siege
The poster I put together for the finale of a fantasy/Wild West themed Pathfinder campaign I ran, Land Under Storm. The theme was Man With a Harmonica by Ennio Morricone.

Behemoth
The second, and the one which took the most effort in actually using GIMP on my part, was for a now sadly aborted post-apocalyptic campaign using the Sins system, a soon-to-be-published game that plays like a mix between Shadowrun and Exalted and somehow manages to be even crazier than the sum of its parts. The campaign's theme was If I Had a Heart by Fever Ray, fitting as one of the campaign's major factions were a group of techno-vikings.

RunLondon
And this for my upcoming Shadowrun campaign, set in a futuristic cyberpunk London. Main theme is Controlling Crowds by Archive. So stoked about running this.

Very cool work on the those pics Mustard!

Queensryche - Walk In The Shadows is a great Shadowrun song. They have a lot of good Shadowrun songs, like I Dream In Infrared, and I Am I. Back in the day I actually made a 5 cd set of songs to play as background music during gaming sessions. Each focused on some different facet of the SR world, like organized crime, the corporations, living in the shadows, and of course actually running them. Things like in The City - by Joe Walsh, Bedlam Bridge - by Midnight Oil, The Garden - By GNR and Alice Cooper, Ride Across The River - by Dire Straits, Electric Eye - by Judas Priest, Uprising - by Damn Yankees (a great song for the NAN), and so many more.

I'm using that new song "Lean On" by whogivesaflying (the one that goes "blow a kiss, fire a gun") as my Shadowrun main theme. Haven't come across one for my irl D&D game.

@SubRosa: Night of the Hunter by 30STM seems like a good song for a setting like Shadowrun.

EDIT: Alibi seems good too, for some emotional cyberpunk/urban fantasy existential crisis.

Some good ones guys!

I clear forgot. Harmony Steel made a whole bunch of mostly instrumental Shadowrun songs. I love Coming Home, but there is also Dante's Inferno, Urban Shaman, Tripping The Deck, and Path Of The Bard.

And let's not forget the Shadowrun Movie Trailer biggrin.gif

Not here, we are in our dog days - a little late starting them this year for some reason. We normally have them in August, this year they didn't start till September.
