QUOTE(Renee @ Sep 12 2015, 10:23 PM) Thanks you all! mALX: that's Better Cities. It changes the AU drastically. Adds all kinds of lights and plants, all kinds of stuff to slow our framerates. Aha, thanks for letting me know that! I wondered if I'd missed some important quest or something in the (like 35 playthroughs of Oblivion), lol. QUOTE(Renee @ Sep 19 2015, 10:07 PM) These screens are stunning! What an amazing rig you must have! I'm torn between "Man with a plan" and "The Saga" as my favorites, but I also love the "Thought I heard something" because of her hair, it is so shiny and that is most def not vanilla, what mod is that? Love that hair! Awesome shots, Renee!

That is what I shall say to reaction! when did you take these pics? Are you active right now? Or are these older pics? And yeah, Must have been the wind is spooky right? I don't remember what caused that purple, whether it was a friend or foe. Thanks Acadian.

QUOTE(SubRosa @ Sep 21 2015, 08:32 PM) Looks like in spite of their name, those Dark Seducers don't want any manflesh in their private base. No man cooties! Some time ago Vion already had troubles " evading" a certain lady from Bliss. He was unsure what to say to reaction. @Renee - yeah, he'll make sure to stay away from his FARTher. Anyway, time for fresh screenies: Swimming in the Isles is the quickest and safest shortcut to the outside world As soon as Vion was back in the Fringe, passing a now-dead Gatekeeper, he felt better because he was one step closer to Cyrodiil. Memories from the painful battle with the Gatekeeper were still very much alive. The sun was just setting as he arrived to Passwall, the last stop before leaving the Shivering Isles. He decided to spend a night in the Wastrel's Purse and continue his march out of the Isles the next day. This post has been edited by Lopov: Sep 22 2015, 11:21 AM

These are some great shots, really represent the "feel" of the Isles; and Vion being barefoot accentuates that sensation. Really great shots! QUOTE(SubRosa @ Sep 22 2015, 09:03 AM) Off to Cyrodiil to get some fresh air? My character Morrigan - who explored the entire Isles - enchanted a pair of boots with water walking to get around easier.
When they take Passwell off the map and block you from it after you kill the Gatekeeper; is it possible to walk/swim around to Passwell and access the portal to Cyrodiil or have they put up primitives around the water side too? I've tried doing that before, but can't remember if I was able to reach it or not. Has anyone else tried it?

There are always collision boxes blocking the Fringe worldspace from the rest of SI, as much so you can't jump out in the early game as against jumping in later. You can swim complete around the outside of the Fringe, and land on the other side, but there's no back door to use. The only connectors are the Mania and Dementia gates. The inside of the Fringe is/are two separate worldspaces, and the doors get swapped to go the "ordered" copy during the related quests. Open Cities does not do an Open Fringe! (Although I do run with an Open New Sheoth). If you go tcl-flying, you'll find an empty Fringe in the SI worldspace. This post has been edited by ghastley: Sep 22 2015, 04:15 PM

I never had Shivering Isles for my PC, only for my 360 game, so had no way to check it out except swimming (which I had done, but couldn't remember the result of - and now have no way to check it out again since my 360 broke a year ago). Thanks Ghastley!

Thanks all again. -- The following morning was rainy but this didn't stop Vion from leaving the Shivering Isles. Putting his hood on, he walked through the Fringe to the portal to Cyrodiil. And was pleasantly surprised when he found that weather in Cyrodiil was all but rainy. He swam over the Niben and met some Bravil locals on their usual Sundas hunt. They chatted for some time, and told Vion that his father officially cut him out of his will on the day he left Bravil. But even more shocking were news of the Emperor's death. He ventured north, exploring Robbe's Glen Cave on the way and stopped at Faregyl Inn to spend a night. The following morning he killed the Potato Snatcher, an Ogre responsible for stealing Jumbo Potatoes from S'jirra the Khajiit cook. Later on he bought new clothes and sat on a wall outside the inn until sunset, feeling good being back in Cyrodiil. He decided to stay at Faregly Inn for some time.
