How did Lothran get a fire in his fireplace? Did a little birdie build it for him? I had to build one for Maxical; because for some reason it didn't come with the house upgrade,

Yay, Lothie's home for the winter! With a Mooch Pumpkin on his cabinet and a Buffy Snowflake dagger at his side, he's all set!

Guess he needs to start keeping watch for a slick-talking Redguard soon. I don't think this Redgaurd's going to be breaking into Lothran's home, but better lock that door anyway.

He is still carrying both of Arnora's necklaces; And he said, "good, it is still here" when he looked in his inventory. I thought he must be talking about Arnora's things.

Depends on how you do the quest, according to the wiki. If you kill her you do get both. It´s only required that you show Jorundr the real one, you don´t have to give it to him.

I only did this quest once, and can't remember much about it; only that both Arnora and her husband were alive when I went after the treasure - but I sneaked around the killing somehow, and I don't remember how.

But when I went to get the treasure, the corrupt guard attacked me and I had to kill him. So after killing a guard I was afraid to go into Bruma for a while, and hid out in Cloud Ruler Temple a few days. But when I did go into Bruma next, as soon as I entered Arnora and her husband got into a fight just outside of Olav's Tap and Tack; and the guards rushed in and killed Arnora!

I thought that was kind of cool, because it had to be triggered event in the chance that the player kills neither! When Bethesda made Oblivion, they put in all these extra things "Just in case" that I loved so much about that game, little surprises based on how you played.

Lothran should open his own Museum of Oddities in Cyrodiil.

Nice to see Lothran's cozy fire ready for the winter. Good thing he's keeping track of that Amulet. Who knows what could happen if it fell out of his hands!

Not much of a shot, but adequate as a memento of the gang's just ending (as of 30 Nov 2015 earth date) stay in Leyawiin. Vil was in her element, talking almost non stop with the Inn's numerous customers. (More appeared after this images was captured.) We began to think she would never be ready to leave, but my avatar was at last allowed to escort her to her berth in the Mages Guild basement a bit after 2200.

That is one of the things I thought was best about Vilja - dialogue with NPC's. Great shot, I'm glad to see you playing and posting shots!

I really like the blue flask in the foreground but I don´t recall ever seeing one in-game myself.

Preparing the image seen in my preceding post put me in mind of another Inn capture, to my mind's eye amongst the best static visual documents from the play-through. It is mid Crisis. My avatar roams the land in the guise of Crusader, putting out fires large and small, closing any and all Gates he chances upon. As I remember it, he had closed two Gates in fairly rapid succession, and elected to pop into the Imperial Bridge Inn for a little R&R before tackling a third. There he was met by what must have been two squads of patrolling Legionnaires on break. Here we see him seated at the bar, surrounded by comrades, basking in the warm glow of camaraderie.


I believe the blue flask is from Better Potion Bottles Reduced, which I installed back in 2011. There are several Oblivion potion bottle replacement mods, some fancier. I chose this one because it's a simple texture / mesh replacer requiring no esp.

Good shots Decrepit, nice to see so many people together. My game would probably lag if my character were in such a company. The Khajiit in the first pic is drinking from a curiously colored bottle.
