QUOTE(mALX @ Dec 1 2015, 05:25 PM) So now is the time to learn some good gun safety practices:
(1) If you see something moving in the woods, it may not be a deer/rabbit/flowerpot/(and it BETTER NOT BE A SQUIRREL!!!!!! ) - it might be a person, so site carefully before pulling the trigger.
And (2) Don't try to clean the gun by looking down the barrel while buffing the trigger.

I´ll try to remember this

*Sighs wearily* fml. Went into town earlier, trying to get some new trousers, replacements for my now somewhat battered cargo pants. But there's a problem. The problem being that I need to find trousers with a 30inch waist and a 32inch leg. And I still need a belt to hold them up because I don't really have a waist, and need to rely on bones and belts to hold my trousers up. Which meant that I couldn't actually get any, because they didn't have any 30-32s I hate trying to get new trousers.

Yeah, limited selection for sure. Same with having smallish feet, US size seven in my case. I tend to research my footwear before buying (unless it's a pair of house slippers or some such). I'll settle on exactly what I want (within budget), find who carries it locally, then almost invariably discover that no store stocks it below size 8, occasionally 7 1/2. They will special order it, but I prefer to guaranty fit before committing. If I can't to that, I'd as soon order it myself online, which is usually cheaper than local. Heh, I gave up trying for 28 waist and 32 legs years ago, and I'd still need a belt with those. I've got a similar problem buying shoes too, but for the opposite reason. Selections tend to be pretty limited at size 11, though they do seem to be improving. QUOTE(mALX @ Dec 2 2015, 07:56 PM) Suspenders!

QUOTE(mALX @ Dec 2 2015, 09:59 PM) QUOTE(mirocu @ Dec 2 2015, 03:01 PM) Against my advice Dad have put all the bills for the tractor garage together, including the work from the two excavators. Surprisingly he still sleeps well at night... Wait, are they paid bills? And if so - yes, put them all together because those expenses are all tax deductible. True, but it´s still a reminder of how much money we´ve spent this year

QUOTE(mALX @ Dec 3 2015, 10:17 AM) QUOTE(Callidus Thorn @ Dec 3 2015, 05:06 AM) Well, writing's officially been put on hold this week while I try to sort out whatever problems I'm having getting a good night's sleep, and try to get a better idea of how this discussion plays out.
I'll just have to write more next week.
Did you make your NaNoMo quota of words? Hit the target last week, on the 27th. I wanted to get it wrapped up before my birthday, so I wrote 25k in five days May have burned myself out ever so slightly in the process. But the story goes on...

I'm glad you aren't dropping the story; but I sure understand why you'd be burned out for a while. That was a whopping amount of typing you did! (not to mention all the thinking behind it!!)
