Cyrodiil is super exciting, and quite terrifying at times. Haa-Rei isn't built for front line combat, and acts as a scout. This has lead to more than one...tense situation behind enemy lines. Ebonheart Pact forces in hot pursuit of retreating Daggerfall Covenant forces, after a successful fort defense. A sneaky screenie of someone's armoured Senche mount. We paid a visit to Weynon Priory, which is significantly larger than it will be in the 3rd era. Still plenty of monks wandering around though. Even though there are lots of differences, it's still the Cyrodiil we all know and love. This post has been edited by hazmick: Dec 30 2015, 12:37 AM

Hillside Ayleid ruin. Keeping an eye on the Pact siege line. Strange goings on at Castle Faregyl. Those Ayleid stones seem to affect the area's landscape. Haa-Rei heads deep into Daggerfall Covenant territory to scout a lumbermill. We look on with envy at an armoured Guar. Taking a well-earned rest at an abandoned cottage.

Here is the screenshot of Lildereth with her Khajiiti friends. The big one is Hassim and the little one is called Sugar Paws. They say they are cousins, but Lil suspects that they simply mean they are relatives who are close in age. The full awesomeness of the horses cannot be captured in screenshots. There seem to be some new horse idles, plus the slow trot makes me .

QUOTE(hazmick @ Dec 21 2015, 11:35 AM) Here's some more: Met a friendly Reachman, named Kyrtos. Did a suitably grueling trial for Malacath. Found a nice Daedric rock. Helped some Orc miners who stumbled upon a Dwemer ruin.A very BIG Dwemer ruin, which turned out to be a Dwemer quarry. The control room was huge too (note Neramo the Altmer to the left of the device in the centre, for scale). Finally, Haa-Rei and Magni watch as two Echatere clash heads. That Dwemer ruin/quarry is Awesome!!! Especially the quarry, I don't remember seeing anything like that at all before! I actually wrote comments on these screens and lost them in my laptop issues, grrrr. Great Shots, Hazmick! QUOTE(hazmick @ Dec 22 2015, 07:15 PM) Just a couple today: Found a big ol' Malacath shrine. Orcs sure love their statues. The aftermath of an intense encounter. MenagerieAnd finally, after completing the main quest in Orsinium, we had to say goodbye to Eveli. Haa-Rei and I very much hope to see her again. Oh no, I was hoping to see more of Eveli! Did you ever get to whistle for her and she showed up? She is adorable! Love your menagerie, lol. QUOTE(hazmick @ Dec 24 2015, 05:46 PM) Let's see what we have: Before leaving Wrothgar, Haa-Rei just HAD to explore the public dungeon, which turned out to be a huge Dwemer Ruin, filled with undead Orcs as well as the usual mechanical critters. Now we've journeyed South, and into Cyrodiil. We payed a brief visit to Cheydinhal, though it's little more than a collection of houses and a chapel. Odd to think it'll become a bustling town in a few centuries. Next to the bridge leading to the Imperial City. Unfortunately it looks a little...destroyed...but never fear, a contingent of Imperial Soldiers are working hard to solve the problem... ...maybe we'll find another way in. That Deadroth at the bridge killed me a dozen times before I gave up trying - and it wasn't easy to keep running back there either, lol.

QUOTE(SubRosa @ Jan 3 2016, 10:41 PM) Kitties! I wonder how many things from ESO might make their way into the next Elder Scrolls game that Bethesda makes? Cats would certainly be nice!
I would love to see cats, pony guars, and scuttler pets in the next TES game. I love having a non-combatant creature along for the adventure. Tag-along followers are also fun. Jerric had a “Young Wasp” following him for a while after one dungeon fight. It just followed and helped him fight until it died. I had no idea that could happen. I’ve also seen someone with a really gross looking warty bloated spider following them. Not sure if it was a follower or a pet. I don’t have the spider fear, but I could really do without that! The variety of mounts bring a lot of atmosphere to ESO. I would like to see geographically appropriate mounts in the next TES game. I thought that the bear mounts would look silly, but a huge orc on a roaring bear is a sight to see. A bit odd to see in downtown Mournhold, but a sight none the less. I would also love to have more equipment slots like in ESO. Head, chest, shoulders, belt, hands, legs, and feet for armor/clothing, plus neck and two ring jewelry slots. There is a lot of flexibly for both looks and the gameplay effects of armor.

If you're thinking of the thing I think you're thinking of, it's a Necrotic Hoarvor pet. Quite an uncommon sight. You get it when you unlock a specific achievement in the Imperial City DLC.

Finally got the cosmetic mount upgrades all done today, so here they are: Guaraug the Guar.Magni the Bear.I had to zoom out to get their footwear in. I hope you can all still see it. The upgrades come in three parts - armour, saddle bags, foot wraps.

QUOTE(Grits @ Jan 7 2016, 02:39 AM) Oh my gosh, Magni and Guaraug look great in their new gear! Every time I see a tessellated guar (which is not very often) I smile and think of Haa Rei. I love how his tail rests over the guar’s back. And there’s Venatrix the snow lizard looking adorable! Are the foot armor pieces from speed training? Jerric’s Bill has saddle bags, but that’s as far as he’s gotten. I’ve seen some horses with armor but could never figure out what the visual change is when you train speed. I looked through your Orsinium screenshots again and you may have pushed me over the edge to spending my birthday money. I would love to meet Eveli the bowgirl! Her ponytails slay me. Yep, the booties are from speed training. Though I think horses get some straps over their torso rather than any leg-wear. Senche mounts get booties too. I'll get a screenie of a horse so you can decide whether to go for the upgrades. I'd definitely recommend Orsinium. It's also a good place to level up if you get stuck in a rut with Veteran levels later on EDIT: Here's Eiroch showing off the horse gear. I think those leather straps on her rump are the speed upgrades. She has no leg-wear This post has been edited by hazmick: Jan 7 2016, 04:33 AM
