Thanks all! -- More Colla Gius' paintings from the 3rd Era: In the Black RookNot all rumors are to be believed but apparently Oberon wasn't satisfied with how he looks like in this painting and demanded for Colla Gius to paint another one, this time in the company of a woman. Rosana and OberonBut when he saw this one, he forbade Colla Gius to paint another one of his face because he looked like an Ogre. So to avoid further complications, Colla Gius painted Meeting in the garden from above... ...and At the Sea from a slightly larger distance.

I should try and acquire artwork reflecting my avatars various adventures. Only, I'm not sure I have access to . . . uuuummmmm . . . an artist of acceptable caliber. As for what I do have, here we see my decrepit avatar and his ward supping at the Wawnet following their return from Cheydinhal. They are joined by a fellow Weyenite. The Inn's resident bard sits ignored in the background.

Thanks all! @mirocu - these are ordinary screenshots, altered to look like paintings. -- The following paintings present Oberon passing Fort Ash on way to the Weynon Priory and subsequent meeting with Grandmaster of the Blades who at first didn't pay any attention to Oberon, as presented in the second painting. By Oberon's wishes, latter paintings were dedicated to Brandy the horse, the first one showing them leaving the priory, the second one showing them passing through the Colovian Highlands and the last one showing them as they spot Kvatch for the first time. Those with keen eyes will also notice that in the first painting Oberon is still wearing common shoes but in other paintings he already wears leather boots, taken from Jauffre's supplies. Thanks all! I think that screenshots altered to look like paintings fit better with Oberon's tale in the parallel thread. I might switch to normal screenies at some point but not yet, I like paintings more for now. Waiting for some friends to arrive for the party to begin, I'm browsing through very first pages of this thread and came upon some really stunning pics like this one: QUOTE(Acadian @ Mar 21 2013, 11:31 PM) Easily one of my fav Buffy shots! Moving on to Buffy's friend from Bruma... QUOTE(mirocu @ Feb 25 2013, 04:54 PM) BTW, mirocu, you often say that you're running out of pics for the Where am I thread? but I've seen at least dozen which I don't have a clue about where were they taken. And now to my personal winner from the Hot/Not contest which Renee hosted at Beth a few years ago: QUOTE(Grits @ Feb 12 2013, 02:41 PM) She still wins for me. QUOTE(mALX @ Feb 12 2013, 09:17 PM) This was taken before the "Arrow to the Knee" became popular: http://a2.ec-images.myspacecdn.com/images0...20ac1da7d/l.jpgPoor Maxical got hit These are just a few, there's a whole lot of other amazing pics in that thread, I only made it through the first few pages.

The following paintings present Oberon joining the Kvatch guard, led by courageous Savlian Matius, in the battle outside of the ruined town, his subsequent venture to the portal of Oblivion and eventually closing the gate by removing the Sigil Stone, and a final battle for liberation of Kvatch. Last two paintings present Oberon meeting Martin for the first time. The second one was painted by Oberon's order and while Colla Gius titled it "Martin Septim", Oberon commonly referred to it as "The true Champion of Cyrodiil". Oberon is at first wearing the same outfit as in previous series but later on he wears a full Kvatch cuirass with matching chainmail greaves and boots. It is worth mentioning that as a reward for liberating Kvatch he got another cuirass from Savlian Matius, enchanted with fortifying wearer's endurance and strength. Since Oberon wears the cuirass before Kvatch was liberated, it is assumed that he acquired it from one of the fallen soldiers and was thus unenchanted. Whether he wears an enchanted or a regular one in the painting with Martin, is not known, since Oberon himself forgot about it, saying that "it doesn't matter in the end, since both of them look the same".
