I just started re-re-re-re-re-re-reading a book for kids/older kids that I used to read when I was younger. Not heavy material, but still good

Heh, I still read the same stuff I used to read when I was younger lol. But I was reading stuff like Lord of the Rings when I was ten, so... *shrugs*

I have a few favorites from my childhood that were reread so many times then that I knew every word in them by heart. I've bought or borrowed them all from the library for my own children to read (and reread them while I had them too, of course).

The stories were still good, though not quite as good as I remembered them to be. Instead of the magic I used to feel reading them, there was a great feeling of nostalgic memories of those many early readings. (which was still good in its own way).

I'd still like to reread them again if given the chance again though, lol.

This is not quite on par with that. It´s a book in the Five-series written by Enid Blyton..

You mean the Famous Five? I think I read one or two of those.

Yeah, those books with the four kids and their dog. In this book a girl has to live with them because someone threatened to kidnap her to get her dad´s scientific notes

I think they made a kids tv series about that. Better than some of the stuff I used to read though.

When I was a kid I read a dictionary and an encyclopedia.

Anyway, think I´m gonna read through the Famous Five-books that I have. Need to remove myself from the screen a little bit, at least in the evenings

I looked up her Wiki to see if I remembered any of her writing; because I'm positive I've read some of her works. Got wrapped up in her bio, lol.
