QUOTE(mirocu @ Feb 22 2016, 09:06 PM) It really sucks to have back pain. I had it once a couple of months after losing my job. I reckon it was a combination of sudden inactivity and many hours gaming while sitting in bad positions. Suddenly my back hurt like "#% and nothing I did could relieve it. It went away after a few hours and I have not had it since thank the lords but man, it was terrible. You have my support sympathies Well, I s´pose my support as well when I think about it. QUOTE(mALX @ Feb 22 2016, 10:02 PM) QUOTE(Callidus Thorn @ Feb 22 2016, 04:01 PM) My back still hurts. It sucks, and I figure I'm stuck with it for another couple of days in all likelihood. Bless your heart, Thorney! I'm so sorry you are in pain Thanks guys My back's feeling somewhat better today; doesn't hurt as much, and I'm able to move easier, so it looks like my guess is accurate. Still being really careful though. Really don't want to make this worse

QUOTE(mirocu @ Feb 23 2016, 08:10 PM) I´m not a Lopov doctor but I´d say regular walks can improve on blood flow through the body which in turn can help prevent muscle pain. In any case I´d say regular walks is generally good for you I take an hour or so walk every day, and I walk at a pretty fast speed. Unfortunately I couldn't yesterday due to high winds(which I figure are bad to walk in with a bad back), and today I was running scans on my laptop and defragging it, so I was basically babysitting it all day

QUOTE(mirocu @ Feb 23 2016, 08:33 PM) Oh, bugger. And I thought the idea of "fake it till you make it" was such a good one I believe there are plenty of criminals that can attest to it being a bad idea

Still being really careful though. Really don't want to make this worse When you sleep, sleep on your side with a pillow under your arm that is over your body; and a pillow between your knees. That makes your spine stay straight while you sleep, so nothing is pulling against it. It eases back pain by keeping you from putting stress on it till it is healed. Also, when you get up from sleeping; roll so your feet go off the bed first, then sit up; rise out of bed from a sitting position facing out - less strain on your back that way too. I was in a car accident decades ago that really hurt my spine, had to do these things till it healed. Now I've got no issues and can get up and down as I please, but every now and then if I lift something wrong, have to do it again for a while. QUOTE(mirocu @ Feb 23 2016, 04:10 PM) We have wild boar and lynx around and I would prefer to meet neither. Especially the boars because even with a heavy caliber gun they can be very hard to kill, and I don´t think the massive output of adrenaline helps in that situation My dogs that I raise are called "Hog Dogs" because they are trained to hunt wild boar and corner them until their master gets there to shoot the hog. They have to wear vests so the hogs don't gore them.

QUOTE(Destri Melarg @ Feb 23 2016, 07:01 PM) QUOTE(mALX @ Feb 23 2016, 03:56 PM) "Five milk bones each to let me go." -Oh wait, this isn't the 'Caption This' thread... Unfortunately, you are right = these dogs will do absolutely ANYTHING for a milkbone, lol.

I'll have to dig out some pillows and give that a try. Thanks.
