QUOTE(ghastley @ Mar 4 2016, 03:25 PM) AWD didn't take off until the Audi Quattro group B rally cars, where they could run with higher power because all the wheels shared it. So Audi have always been big on it, and all the Subarus (except for the BRZ, which is sort of a Toyota anyway) use it.
Yeah, I´ve always liked the Quattros and Subarus for the systems they have (not an expert on either, mind you). No fan at all of the Haldex system though as they have had massive problems early on. Probably better now but they´ve left a bad taste in my mouth even though I´ve never had a car with it. I´ve heard many Volvos that have it broke down around the same milage and it was incredibly expensive to fix. Man, if I had gotten an original rally Quattro from back in the day. The really nice specimens now rival brand new cars in terms of cost!

QUOTE(Lopov @ Mar 3 2016, 03:08 PM) Not the best pic, since it's taken with my cell phone but it's finally here - my new car. I still have some bureaucracy stuff to do but if all goes as planned I get keys on Tuesday at 2 PM. Can't wait. Very cute car, Lopov! I like the style of the lights in the front, like oriental eyes!

How's your day been? Mine's been pretty crappy. I woke up with one eye a bit funny, must have slept awkwardly again or something. Even now it still feels a bit off Edit: Hey mALX! This post has been edited by Callidus Thorn: Mar 4 2016, 09:40 PM

Even now it still feels a bit off Edit: Hey mALX! Hey! Eye trouble is no fun at all. Do you have some colloidal silver eye drops? If you have any kind of pink-eye; eye infection/etc - clears it up instantly. They use it on newborns to kill any germs contracted in the birthing process. Anyway, it is also just plain really soothing if your eye is achy for any reason. I hope you get feeling better.

QUOTE(Callidus Thorn @ Mar 4 2016, 03:54 PM) Yup, 'tis a real bitch.
Doesn't like backlit screens at the moment either, I only really popped in to write a bit about my character. Think I'd better call it quits before it starts feeling any weirder.
Later.
Darken your room and shut off both your TV and computer; lights; etc. You can check your mirror to see if your pupils look correct, or have someone else check them for you. Make sure they are closing as they should when light hits them. If not, rest and try to get an appointment with an eye doctor. If you need something on, try music. (that won't add light into the room). QUOTE(Callidus Thorn @ Mar 4 2016, 03:51 PM) It was a bit out of focus this morning, just enough to notice, and I woke up with it feeling a bit weird. But my sleep's been pretty messed up the last few nights, so I figure I probably just slept awkwardly and squished it a little, like I did a while back.
It still feels odd, but at least the fuzziness is gone.
It sounds like sometimes you are sleeping with one eye open/not closed all the way. Air may be drying out that eye, making it sore and swollen by morning from the lack of moisture it needs to be healthy. You may try wearing an eye cover (like my avatar has on) when you sleep; or just ensuring your eyes are closed. Or you could have a sty in your eye; but you would see that looking in the mirror. But anyway, there are some drops you can use that re-moisturize eyes that have become dry. It is not good for eyes to let that happen, so find out what is causing it and what you need to do to stop it happening. Eyes are critical to take care of.
