QUOTE(SubRosa @ Feb 25 2016, 02:00 PM) QUOTE(mirocu @ Feb 25 2016, 11:26 AM) You must have made quite a few mods now, SubRosa. Do you keep count on them? Sure, let me see, 1, 2, 3... lots. Lots of mods. Putting up boards? Sounds like a good spot to place some wonderglue, scrap metal, turpentine, fission batteries, and maybe a few tin cans... Awesome mods, too!

I still very much enjoy the non-attacking/fleeing animals and the ability to summon a spriggan

QUOTE(mirocu @ Feb 25 2016, 03:13 PM) I still very much enjoy the non-attacking/fleeing animals and the ability to summon a spriggan Yes, and I am not sure if Bethesda didn't copy her idea with the "Animal Friends" perk in FO3 and NV. It is one of my favorites, so is the Witchcraft mod. And I actually like her idea with the Ferryboats better than my Marina mod; (where you had to rent a boat and ride the full tour, but could stop off at four landings along the way and a camp would be set up for you at each stop). SubRosa's Ferryboats, you come across them in the wilderness in your travels and can just use them - that is awesome, and much more realistic than finding boats everywhere that you can't use (like in the vanilla game). That was such a good idea, and keeps the player from swimming across and getting slaughterfish bites.

Update on the tractor garage: Weīve spent a few days organizing it as we need to fit many boards, steel shelves and a bunch of miscellaneous things in it and pretty soon that space does not feel too big anymore, not that it ever did. All in all we now have two large and one small steel shelf up and no less than four wooden shelves for the boards. Weīll get rid of some of the boards later that are not too great for anything other than firewood and thatīll free up some space for other things. After all, canīt have empty spaces anywhere, can we? This year weīll look into if we can get a smaller car garage up as well that we can use as a workshop. The problem is finding someone who can move it for us and get it into place. Also, money..

Remember, you'll have to use the clockwork camera until you have that 'leccy stuff in there! P.S. was the squirrel in the wheel not generating enough power? This post has been edited by ghastley: Apr 13 2016, 05:50 PM

The Rocu cottage project Today Dad and I put up the framework to a 4m x 6m storage tent. It was a bit of a pain at the start but we figured it out. Whatīs left to do is even out the ground by the pillars, anchor it down and then of course put on the fabric which I think will be a little tricky. The tent is not too high but high enough and we canīt really have ladders against the framework. Weīll see how difficult itīll be And of course I forgot to bring the camera along but I will try to bring it next time, as always But hereīs a pic of where weīll lay down the cable to the shed! Not quite done as you can see for obvious reasons.

Aw, you do me too much honor.. Pic onePic twoPic threeSupport poles and anchors were on todayīs agenda. We have a few more anchor pieces to jam into the ground and then I guess itīs time for the tent itself. Weīre not quite sure though which pieces we should use as anchors, the manual doesnīt specify and it isnīt obvious. I think we might have to make a phone call before we leave home tomorrow.

QUOTE(Decrepit @ Apr 25 2016, 10:32 PM) My goodness mirocu, you are one industrious fellow!
Purely out of necessity, I can assure you Well, it is quite nice to work on projects with my dad. We donīt always agree on things but we most often have a good time Edit: Hauled most of the stuff in the car garage over to the tent. Got a few shelves and cupboards up and slammed them full of the same crap garbage stuff as before This post has been edited by mirocu: Apr 26 2016, 03:41 PM

You don't do anything halfway, that is for sure! I can't wait to see the tent fully done, and am dying to know the plan for its use! It is most def a huge tent! Impressive, as you always are when you are building! You are an amazing builder!

I canīt take full credit here, Dad is definitely part of this project. But thanks Here are some pics. Censorship has been added to protect the guilty innocent Canvas timeGoing upMore than halfway there (Whoooa! Living on a prayer!) DoneWe used the trailer as ladder supportFirst shelves are upIt was a bit of a pain to put the canvas up. It was heavy and kept getting stuck on everything, it even got a small hole in one place. Itīs not a disaster though as the canvas is of no-rip design which means if a hole appears it wonīt get bigger or tear up the canvas. The tent is meant as storage for all the bits and bobs from my childhood home, including everything that was in the cellar and garage. There was a ton of stuff and Iīm sure most of you can relate A lot has been moved and the tent is already getting too small. We have to use our brainz and organize it, but thatīs actually the most fun part in this project. I love doing that
