Okay! As you all might know I'm one of those lot that immigrated over here when Bethesda's site changed back in 2010, Decemberish. It's been.. A wild few years for me recently. Wow, I think it's been three or four years since I had reliable internet. I can't even remember anymore honestly. What with our loss of it out in our little rental house when we had to choose between luxuries and food. To the desolate country with my grandmother whom is an avid technophobe. Aaall the way to a house near my grandmother out in the country that lacked simple heat and air.. And we had -no- money for air conditioners or heaters. .. yeah that was a fun year or two.. And even out in the slightly rural town of Inola. Still. No internet. Well. It -was- internet. For all of like. A day. Dish Net is Terrible by the way....

I think its time to be on to more current news, yeah? Last year, Monday May 18th.. I can't remember what time it was during my shift.. I'd been working at my local Walmart in Enid you see. As a night stocker. Anyway, that monday my mother Carla Evon Cole died of COPD or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. She choked to death and I'm told it wasn't pretty. And a week before her? My dad Robert died of organ failure. Robert Cole. I'll include a link below to her obituary page, they didn't even pay for his or even a funeral... And the reason Carla choked to death was that she was marked down as a DNR or Do Not Resuscitate. She wanted to fight on. And the hospital was literally obligated to let her die when her heart stopped or she ceased to breath. I'm still not sure of that was the hospital's order. Or my grandmother who, with her son and Carla's brother, got my mother's power of attorney. I should know. I paid for the form and signed as the witness. And i think it may have been used to kill her. Cause, as her son, I SHOULD has been informed of that little tidbit. That prompted our move swiftly from Hillsdale to Inola far from my Grandmother and the rest of that side of the family.

Fastforward a little. We stayed out at Inola for awhile. I tried to get a job. Get net. So on so forth. But I just couldn't. I was stagnating horribly. And for those who don't know my odd situation... while both my parents are now deceased I still have a couple. Robbie and Glenn Huey. Robbie was Carla's sister and my aunt. And she and her husband Glenn raised me my whole life after a court order deemed Carla and Rob ill fit to care for a child. It was.. Dark times for them. I was made aware a long time ago of my parentage though. And i loved them both. My brother Dale on that side too.

And that is where we come to now. January I decided to reconnect with my brother Dale of 37 considering the above. I was going to spend the New Years with him and his husband Joe. I stayed for three months. Everything I have been told about Dale has been spot on, we are nearly exactly like twins. All the sames likes, interests, -everything-. I'd known for like my whole life we were similar but never really realized how -much- until that January. I came back to Inola for a month to say goodbye to my other mother and father Glenn and Robbie and my siblings Jessie, Cliffton, and Robbilu. The last two weeks into April I was all nice and pack and moved shortly to Lexington out here. Oh. Since arriving I got a job too! Part time at the Dollar General 20 minutes walk away.

Oh and we have Sudden-Link High Speed net. So I'm going to try to be on more. ... Oh And sometime in February my laptops charger port snapped. It's -still- in the shop..

Oh Arcry, I'm so sorry for what you have had happen to you! I hope you are doing better now and have found a happy situation with your brother. I hope your sister is doing okay too.

I'm just so glad you had family around you that cared throughout this whole thing and still do. That will carry you a long way through trying times. I am so glad they are there for you through this, and hopefully for your sister and other siblings too.

I just so hope you get through them okay and things work out better for you in the future.

Thanks mALX, it was a trying time for awhile there. Still not all over it really. Doubt I will be. Just how that goes. But Robbilu is doing much better now. She had a job for a bit there but quit cause drama. Looking for another. Cliff is finding one too. But yeah they're all doing well and I'm in a good place ^^

I'm so glad you and Dale are finding each other through this. Sounds like you will be close and make up for all that time lost. You are right, time won't heal this one; but having a loving family around you will; and you seem to have that.

You have my deepest sympathy for what you have been through, and for your tremendous loss.

Arcy, nice to hear from you. Sorry that times have been tough for quite awhile it sounds like, but glad that things are looking up for you now.

Not for my books though. Bought one book from the Wheel of Time series and one from the Malazan series. Can't seem to decide which should indulge my hunger...

Really sad to read what has happened to you and your family, Arcry. No one deserves such major hits basically all at once. Like the others said, I do hope things will pick up for you and continue to improve from here on out.

That charging jack is the same thing that was broken on my laptop. That was a 150.00 lesson for me in how not to plug up my laptop wrongly, urk. I still catch myself doing it wrong.

Well, not from the beginning. I originally meant myself because I´m riding my bike today, but then I thought, "hey..."


Awesomely pennyweather here today which is the reason for said motorbiking.

We actually seem to have some nice weather here too. Not that I'm going out if I can help it. We're having something of a heatwave at the moment, and the pollen count's high as well, which is always bad for asthmatics.

Maybe if you have a breathing mask as they have in Hong Kong and such places? Oh, but then people will look at you and say "Look, that guy doesn´t have a lawn mower because his coffee maker has been dating the fence from across the street and they don´t tolerate that here."
