You´ll be happy to hear I won´t be mentioning BESTie or Al in the next few months as I´ll be staying at the cottage. Well, maybe in the evenings, but only once or twice per day!

I've been battling my broken port for aaages. Like. Back when I was still going to college XD. Someone came by I guess and hit both my USB port and charger port. Broke the corner frame and loosened the charger bit. Twisted the USP port all the way into the side. Never found out who did it. Aaand It just finally broke. Thankfully my brother down here has a friend that works in computer repair and such. Is fixing my laptop as a favor. .. Heard he had to completely order new parts for the port and the thing the port connects into though cause.. I apparently broke both those with my wiggling and pulling of that bit. ^^;

Ugh. Had a bike accident today


I was riding to the cottage and on a left turn on the dirt road the bike suddenly lost grip and I fell flat as a toad on my left side while rotating almost 360 degrees. Funny though, the only part of me that got hurt was on the inside of the left knee where I got the weight of the bike. But I didn´t hurt my hip or anything else that directly hit the road.

Even worse, I damaged the left foot rest and the gear shift so it got stuck. Had to ride the rest of the way entirely on third (or fourth) gear. I managed to bend it outwards again with some pliers but I can tell it´s out of place, it´s functional now though which is important because I have the semi-annual check-up tomorrow morning.


Oh, well. Time to score some sympathy Milhouse style

Yeah, I´m glad I didn´t have a higher speed, or someone ran over me while I was laying there. Could have happened, the view isn´t the best as it´s a turn in the road


Knee still hurts but it´s ok. I´m more bummed that the foot rest and gear shift took hits. Either I´ll have to live with the foot rest partially loose and the gear shift off-set, or I´ll have to have someone fix it and pay up. Or I may figure it out myself eventually. For now I´m glad I don´t have to cancel tomorrow´s appointment and re-schedule.

Eeep! Glad you're okay, mirocu. Better stick to flying.

Wow. I don't even know what to say other than I'm glad you're back and I hope things look up for you.

Wow Mirocu, I'm glad to hear you're alright. Luckily the two times I have been in an accident it has been minor and there were no injuries. Neither involved another person. Once the rain was so heavy I ended up in a ditch on a corner but in a car it is less dangerous.

Once again, glad you're alright and I hope you aren't in too much pain.

Getting better though but man, was that accident unnecessary


Don´t know if I could have prevented it, really. I wasn´t driving fast or recklessly. Maybe that´s the problem though. If I had been driving fast and recklessly, maybe I would have been more prepared for something to happen?


Thanks, Kiln I think the knee will be fine although it still hurts a bit. The bike didn´t get too damaged either but still, I´m not happy. I´m one experience richer, though...
