QUOTE(SubRosa @ May 29 2016, 02:47 PM) Acadian: Greyditch is definitely another bug hunt. One where the bugs breathe fire! That critter in the first pic is a Molerat. As the name suggests, it is a melding of moles and rats at ten times the normal size created by the American government at Mariposa. It was supposed to be used as a weapon against the Chinese. The idea was to turn them loose in Chinese territory, and leave them to do what moles and rats do - chew through the infrastructure. The sad thing is that Le Chic is the top of wasteland fashion! mALX: I just love the idea of rubbing a Yao-Guai's belly! What if it farts! You can still shoot the Talons as soon as you see them. They skip the dialogue and just attack. But you might lose karma if you kill them before they turn red on your hud. Hecate got a couple of nuka grenades early in the game from somewhere. I think maybe they were a reward from Moira from one of the Wasteland Survival Guide quests. She has been saving them for special occasions. I love how the grass looks in this Flora mod. But it does make shooting radscorpions a lot harder, since you cannot see them! You might be able to play the PC version with your game controller. I know you can do that with a lot of PC games and the X-Box controller. Out of darknessHecate spies out trouble aheadGojira!But in the end, there can be only oneNow Hecate has a new toyBeyond the world's endHecate teams up with the Brotherhood of SteelRaider brought a knife to a gun fightThe result was no surprise"It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife."Hecate wants...Hecate gets They make a purring sound when you rub their bellies, it is fantastic! (so no farting, lol) Oh, I never even thought of a rad scorpion being hidden in the grass! Oh, now that is scary! Must add some real spice to walking around, that is sure; you could step on one before seeing it! Oooh, great idea! I looked it up, and the vibration does work on the PC game when you use them! It makes an enormous difference in places like crossing that bridge behind Liberty Prime or the Implosion of Raven Rock - it feels like you are really there with the ground exploding around you. It really adds to the excitement of the moment when you can actually feel the impacts; and the explosions on that bridge from cars and helicopters exploding - it was an Awesome experience with the game controller! Oh, me thinks Hecate is at the F. Scott trailer park! Woo Hoo, the Deathclaw gauntlet !!! I Love that thing! And I see Hecate has been amassing Bobbleheads, lol. Holy Cow, are you off map in that screen? Are you getting that secret weapon off of that table from the Broken Steel DLC? No wait, you have to finish the game to get that place off map; so it can't be ... where is she? Is that the Arlington Library? What a fun place that is! I think it is funny that those raiders come out of the bathroom when you show up, (caught with their pants down, no wonder they don't put up much of a fight, lol) That quote sounds like something Lincoln may have said, lol. Is that his diary? I didn't know you could actually read it! Ooh, the giant teddy bear! I love that one! Great shots !!!

QUOTE(SubRosa @ May 30 2016, 12:45 PM) King Coin: Hecate has gone out west once, but only down in the south-western corner of the map - making a tour of Girdershade, Dunwich, Tenpenny, and of course obtaining the Lucky Shades. So she has yet to liberate the imprisoned teddy bear. She has squared off with a Behemoth though, as today's pics will show. mALX: Fellout is a work in progress for me. I have been modding it for a year, and I still find myself tweaking the lighting values of places almost every time I play. Acadian: Those trees make this a whole new game for me. I did like the barren, wasteland feel of the original game. But this new arboreal wasteland is a lot of fun too. I often find it reminding me of Cyrodiil. Except of course when I glimpse a Deathclaw though the sniper scope... She who dies with the most teddy bears wins! I love that place! (and love the nukalurk meat!!!!) Uh oh, the screen from the "Where am I?" thread! Does this mean that screen was taken at the Nuka Cola plant? I was stumped on it, have been seriously considering going in game and hunting it down, lol. Oh, I know where she is going now! There are only a few quests where you travel with the BoS; so she must be going to the GNR! WOO HOO! Yes she was going to the GNR! And it is on, what will she fight with this time? OMG, the place looks like Armageddon! I can't believe he lived through those blasts, was that the nuka grenades again? BWAAHAA! Looks like you blew his mutated manhood off, Great shots !!!!

Acadian: Nuka Cola is the drink of Wasteland Champions! The Rosie The Riveter Nuka Sign is probably my favorite in the game. Hecate prefers her sniper rifle - and one shot, one kill - to something as clumsy and inelegant as a blaster Fatman. But sometimes you just have to nuke it from orbit, just to be sure. mALX: That was the F Scott Key Trailer park where Hecate saw the Deathclaw! That was an amazing guess, especially with all the trees. Hecate got the Deathclaw Gauntlet schematics there, as well as a Deathclaw hand of course. That off the map pic was from beyond the southern edge of the map. I turned of all the borders from the .ini file years ago. It makes it easier getting around the edges of the map. But this is the first time she ever went so far off the map entirely. I never really thought that those Raiders in the library were actually using the bathrooms! But when you have to go, you have to go! The quote is from Pride and Prejudice! It is from the very beginning of the novel. I used a pose they made for reading the occult book in Point Lookout so Hecate could look like she was reading. It was not easy to get a good pic, as the pose has you walking all over making summoning gestures. It is = LooseDLC04OccultBookRitual I love the extra action points from the NukaLurk meat too. The blue Lurks are really cool to look at too. Much more interesting than the ordinary Mirelurks. You called it a second time. Hecate was in Chevy Chase, going to GNR. She wanted to get the radio station working so she can listen to it outside of DC. Those blasts in the later shots were nukes from the Fatman! There is always one on a BOS corpse laying out in front of the radio station. That is usually the first place my characters find one. Oh, I didn't know that was the Fatman, that is hysterical! Oh, I wish you had a vid of that, I would just die laughing seeing that behemoth being hit by those mini-nukes!!!!! You have a tremendously creative mind for playing video games, I'd love to watch you play just to see what you would do next! Oh, I know what quest she is on here; getting the dish for 3 Dog! When you are in that place, do you do that side quest? And also, do you jump down off the top balcony into that little Easter Egg room? I love that building, it is a ton of fun! That quest for 3 Dog is one of my favorites in the game! I spit chocolate milk all over my keyboard on the "Tulip" screenshot, (and then wonder why my laptop keyboard broke, ) Uh, one of these links is broken. (the one after Tulip) OMG, how did she get to Button so fast? I love how you stop the action! You must have the fastest hands on record! I have tried so many times to capture things like explosions - the fire has always died by the time I get the tilde key and t pressed, I don't have a clue on this next one, is that little Brian Wilkes/Greyditch trigger? no wait, he didn't have a gun! OMG. WTF is that thing? Urk, there goes my breakfast,

Love the ‘tour’ of DC that I see in FO3! Hecate taking tickets for the Metro. The moon landing exhibit at the Smithsonian. Gonna need a bigger hammer to fix that satellite relay? I see Tulip offers a free lifetime warranty. Traveling with someone to help (Sydney) for a time? Wasn’t Button our big Shire that belonged to the Chapel of Mara? What fabulous captures of Hecate’s magnificent one shot one kill.

mALX: Hecate did jump down to the first little ledge outside the back of GNR. There are a couple of desks and file cabinets there to get some random loot from. Try the one after Tulip now. I had to change the pic. The first was a little too dim. So I had to brighten it up a little. This time going after the Declaration of Independance Hecate went with Sydney. They used her code to take the secret elevator down. Then Sydney said there were shortcuts they could use to sneak by most of the opposition. That was exactly what Hecate did. She stayed to the right, and was able to take a couple of side passages. There were only two robots or so that she had to kill along the way. The last three pics are from that Wastelanders and Deathclaw world encounter I mentioned in the Wasteland Wanderings and Mojave Meanderings thread. The thing getting its head blown off at the end was the Deathclaw. Acadian: Hecate has been spending all of her times in DC lately. So expect to see more familiar sights! Turns out Hecate's fist was all it took to fix that satellite relay after all! Sydney is a relic hunter that you can team up with in the National Archives. She will help you recover the Declaration of Independence. This Button signed the Declaration of Independence! I don't think our beloved four-hooved Button did the same. I meant in that room the Virgo sits in. If you jump down from the top balcony to the next balcony down in a corner - (the one that can't be reached any other way) there is an Easter Egg room in there. I have never gone with Sydney or used that elevator! In fact, I think this is the first time I've seen her! I usually enter via the back door and work my way to the front; then go down to the basement (get all the prewar books; loot; and grape Mentads, Are you still able to get the Magna Carta (etc) going that way? Man, that was one gross looking deathclaw then, lol. I'm way behind on that thread; need to catch up on a lot of threads around here. * HA! I love that cross bridge! I have considered making a little camp at the landing from it, lol. Oh, I love that Dr. Handy! Almost couldn't see the bullet in that screen, lol. What the heck was going on with that Super Mutant? Urk! Love the Ranger armor! I always choose it over the gun, it is great looking armor! OMG, is she sitting on the bike? How did you get her to straddle a bike? Ha! Hecate has gone underground! Great shots!!!! This post has been edited by mALX: Jun 3 2016, 02:58 AM

Our Lady of Hope has seen better days, but love Hecate’s overwatch pose. A nurse bot with a flamethrower – how clever is that? Love Hecate’s snarl in 7.62 surgery, as well as her adherence to the sniper’s credo. Oh noes, Ranger or no, losing your ponytail to a hat is sacrilege! Great shot on the mirocu motorbike. Nice thing about about going to a bar with ghoul babes is that they make Hecate look even better than she already does.

mALX: Oh, do you mean the room with the big rocket in it? That has two secret areas behind the staircases. You can jump on the railing, and then drop down to a little ledge that takes you into the corners under the staircase. You can do it twice in that room. I usually never go with Sydney either. I decided to give it a try this time out to see what it is like. It made things a lot easier, since I avoided most of the robots. I always think it is really cool crossing that makeshift bridge between the hospital and the Statesman Hotel. It is little things like that add up to make FO3 a really fun game. I got Hecate on the motorcycle with the same sitting on ledge pose in this pic. I just stood her on top of the motorcycle's seat, turned the post on, and moved the camera around to find the best angle so it looks like she is riding it. Acadian: Everything in the Fallout games has seen better days! Its a good thing these bots they sold to the general public have flamethrowers, buzzsaws, and lasers. But I guess that is kind of like RL. It is completely legal to own a flamethrower in the US! I had to take the one pic with the helmet and the armor. She has not worn it since. But Hecate does keep it around in case of really dangerous situations. Yeah, Fallout 3 was made with humor and real thought about making the game fun throughout. (ESO is too) "The White House" - this looks like Ground Zero! It looks familiar, but I'm not remembering it. Is it an area we can't explore? And if so, if you toggle clipping; is there anything interesting to find in there? I do remember seeing those ramps at that 4 way intersection though, lol. "My work is done here" is just spectacular! Awesome shot! Your PC must be some fantastic rig, Megaton is so clear and I can even read the "Reilly's Rangers" tag clearly! These are some really great shots of the DC area! Oh no, is that Dunwich? ("Long Way Down") BWAAHAA! I remember the first time I saw those mole rat races! There is a ton of chems on top of the dumpster on the side - I dropped down on it while sneaking to nab them, and suddenly was surrounded by raiders. I was scared = too weak to fight that many; plus the molerats. Instead they started racing! Till they saw me, then I was killed, Great shots! This post has been edited by mALX: Jun 4 2016, 05:47 PM

mALX: The White House must have been ground zero! You can get down into the exposed basement. There is a sewer/tunnel nearby that you can go through to get the White House. It is the one with the crashes motorcycle, and the Evel Knevel wannabe who got his head stuck in the overhead light. The clarity of those pics is just because of my modified Fellout mod. That is all. Long way down, with all hole going down through multiple floors, is from Mama Dolce's. Hecate found it a few days ago, and did some Commie hunting. Usually when I come across the molerat racetrack it is empty. I think there have only been two or three times in all the years I have played FO3 that the raiders and rats have been there racing. So it is nice when it does happen. Acadian: You should play FO3, just to see what DC looks like in the game. Or New Vegas for the same reason. That's not a port a potty, it is a Pulowski Preservation Shelter. It is basically a coin-operated fallout shelter. They are all over DC. Naturally they are absolutely no protection, given the number of bodies found in them. Welcome to TakomaTaking a breakReflectingPulowskiNukaSunset

That sewer exit into the White House exposed basement - is that where you find the glowing one and the fat man up on that ledge and really high radiation?
Ooh, Takoma! Home of the Baseball cap and Behemoth, lol.
Hecate is taking a break and reflecting at the Lincoln Memorial, right? So, I don't see anyone standing, are there dead slaver bodies in parts lying about?
Love the PLulowski shelters! The only one who seems to have benefitted from using one is little Brian from Greyditch, lol.
Hecate loves to pose under Nuka signs, and she kind of does look like Jenny - the Pepsi Cola girl from that alternate Era, lol.
Sunset = Love that scene!

Acadian: I loved that view of Takoma. As soon as Hecate stepped out of the metro and looked up at that hill, I knew that was just begging for a pic. That is indeed Honest Abe in the background of the taking a break pic. Sadly, he lost his head. But Hecate will eventually get around to getting him a new one. The Washington Manliness has indeed seen better days, but it is still erect! mALX: You are right about the White House basement. There is a Fat Man there, and a couple of glowing ones. Maybe one of them is Henry Kissinger... Plus a lot of radiation. That is the reflecting pool in front of the Lincoln Memorial. There are lots of dead slaver parts laying around! How fun to watch Hecate with her fire staff! Moon Goddess is a beautiful shot, although I confess I found myself looking for the second moon. Hecate using the men’s room! Wow, something strange – attack of the plungers? Love the white winter outfit Hecate’s wearing as she has a drink before her trip. Simulated Alaska looks great! Is that from your mod? I guess there is an Anchorage DLC?
