Well hello there!... ... I am glad you are back safe!... I have always wanted to go to the foot of the Himalayas, possibly within eyeshot of Everest, just so I can go..."Well, I saw it!..."...And that'd do me reet good... The same with the earlier mentioned Mt Fuji...Just go to that plain, look at the place and go, "Nice, I'm off..."... ... Ah, the life of adventure...Crave this, I do not... ... And yet, Himalayas, why so awesome yet terrible?...

And yet, Himalayas, why so awesome yet terrible?... Hmm...awesome because you're standing on the summit of the eight highest mountain in the world at 8,163 metres above sea level. The view is amazing, and the feeling of personal accomplishment can't really be put into words. Terrible because: Cold, windy, High Altitude which if you're lucky will induce at best: headaches, nausea, bouts of stomach sickness (the runs). You're body is essentially dying above 8000 metres, you taking ten steps can take you twenty minutes. You're just about incapable of sleeping, everything feels like it weighs a ton, you have no hunger what so ever...but fortunately it's all worth it.

Okay...I wholeheartedly applaud your effort and achievement...1000%!!...Totes!... ... However...Reading that right there is entirely why I will always be content to read - and applaud - other peoples' efforts... It is truly excellent that you survived your jaunt into the danger-zone (cue song), I know there's more than a few that don't... Nice one!!... *Applauds heartily*...

This is amazing! I never realized how hard it would be on the human body! But most def on the feeling of accomplishment; you have gone where so few have gone before - and more than a few didn't survive the attempt! I hope you write a journal about your trip and share it with us!
