QUOTE(Grits @ Jun 20 2016, 07:07 PM) *

Acadian, Lil will bake herself brown from toe to eartip if she feels safe! I think it’s her need for shadows that makes her love the sun so much. Her childhood home was deep tree shade and broad, sunny river. She remembers climbing up onto logs as a little elfling and basking like a turtle. happy.gif

Jerric has caught some strange fish in Coldharbour. Some he has eaten (slaughterfish and trodh, which are the same as the ones he catches in foul water areas in Tamriel) and others are trophies and can’t be filleted. Those are things like blue slimefish, plasm darter, venomfish, and the heinous gar. He once saw a skeleton fishing in Coldharbour. When he went over to ask what the skeleton was catching, he or she tried to kill him. Then he had to find out what was under there for himself. laugh.gif

mALX, Drillk’s quests are in Zuuk in Shadowfen. The Clavicus Vile shrine is I think in Stillrise Village in Shadowfen, related to Drillk’s quests. The pets are completely safe from any damage, but Jerric didn’t take Ulfe to Coldharbour with him until he had finished his business with Molag Bal. He bought the dog with Crowns and the horse with game gold. Ulfe will have to be a golden retriever until they make an Irish wolfhound or an otterhound. laugh.gif Yes, the mounts do scale themselves to the player character. That’s why Lil does not ride a horse – she looks like she’s on a skinny little pony. Thank you for your kind words about Lildereth and Aninah! I agree, ESO elves are lovely, especially the wood elves.

hazmick, those skulls look really neat. Thank you for showing the Dark Brotherhood stuff, I think the closest I will come for a while is when Jerric fell down into a big crack in the ground onto about twenty players who were entering some DB location. embarrased.gif He says the sun was in his eyes. Woo, Naryu!! Meeting her again might be worth murdering for. Is that abandoned village a new location just for the Dark Brotherhood quest, or do you think anyone with the DLC can find it? I love that last picture under the big tree! wub.gif

Just a few from our Gold Coast Nord:

The Abecean Sea

Gold Coast landscape

Fishing the Strid River looking toward Valenwood

I agree, the Wood Elves seem to be the prettiest females of any of the races. I am dying to see the Gold Coast - and have the crowns if it is 2000 like they advertised.

Whenever the Crown Store screen comes up on turning the game on for the first time each day, it is showing as 4000 crowns instead; so I've been holding off. (plus waiting to hear what everyone has to say about it, too. I'm really hoping they will sell the "Crafting Bag of Holding" thing in the Crown Store, that would free up several slots for me.

I know exactly where Jerric is sitting and fishing in these screens, I've been there before in Oblivion! Great shots, and I got a huge kick out of the fishing in Coldharbour story!

Awesome shots!

I am not sold on Wood Elves being the hottest. The Altmer are mighty fine looking in this game (what a change from Skyrim!). Look at Aninah (please! laugh.gif) I hope Bethesda is watching and taking notes for their next TES game.

While Haa-Rei's having a little break, I've decided to join a new friend on her adventures.

Introducing Cirinwe. She's an Altmer sorcerer in the Aldmeri Dominion, focusing on restoration magic. Haa-Rei isn't entirely absent of course, Ciri has him making robes for her.

Here's a close-up, and here she is with Andraste. It was after she had to wear that torso-free Bosmer robe that Ciri decided to employ Haa-Rei as her tailor. Proper torso coverage is essential to happy magecraft.

The Aldmeri starter areas are gorgeous! I like the look of that leather robe! And midriffs never bother me, laugh.gif

Great shots!

Hazmick, how nice to see Cirinwe in ESO! She looks just like you describe her in Haa-Rei's fan fiction story! Great job with the scar.

A spider summit. On the left we have Hephaestus, who belongs to Cirinwe, and on the right we have Has-Many-Legs and his Argonian owner.

How cool is that?!? SubRosa is right on that name, but I think Hephaestus has a great name too.
If they take damage, they go to the smith for repairs instead of the healer. laugh.gif

Oh, I love your hauntingly beautiful 'Oasis' screen of the month - and Haa-Rei's perfect head scarf. 'May you walk on warm sands. . . .' happy.gif

Ooh, nice Keffiyeh in your screen of the month! Great name and cute bug too!

I did a quest that was supposed to net me a Dwarven Spider in my collections; I can see it there grayed out and it says "not picked up." I never got a PM, so not sure why - but it isn't the only missing thing, I've got some kind of blob; a Daedra, etc - a bunch of pets that all are grayed out and saying "not picked up" and all from various quests I did. The only pet l'm able to access is my Nibenese Mudcrab. Didn't even know I was supposed to have gotten them from the quests, and kind of disappointed that I'm blocked from them if I earned them. (although a couple of them sound gross as heck!)

Continuing Cirinwe's journey:

Déjà vu.

This is one of those situations when Ciri really wishes Haa-Rei was here.

Edge of the world.

The Refuge of Dread certainly lives up to its name! ohmy.gif

Destroy the Sigil Stone? We used to keep them for making magic items in other games!

Edge of the world looks fantastic!

OOOH! Sigil towers, WOO HOO!

Uh, do you have the Five Companions here or come alone? Is this part of the DB DLC? And speaking of which; I watched a vid the other day on taking down Molag Bal - er, what is the deal with all the five companions hanging behind while you do all the fighting? I mean, huh?

And then when they returned; Lyris has the gall to say; "we somehow survived" - uh, yeah! I think it is because you stayed behind and the Player did all the fighting alone! It would have made more sense to have them fight beside you and die; especially since Cadwell ends the quest anyway.

This last shot is gorgeous, is that the Abecean?

Wow, ESO certainly did justice to the Deadlands. ohmy.gif

Cirinwe looks fabulous – and brave! So does destroying the sigil stone in ESO close the gate or what?

And a beautiful sunset (sunrise?) in the last shot. happy.gif

It's part of the Aldmeri Dominion questline.

Well the companions are just regular mortals, who'd be squashed instantly by Molag, whereas the player is a soulless champion of the divines. tongue.gif

Acadian & Rosa - Yep, destroying the sigil stone is how people used to close gates back in the good old days. biggrin.gif

And yes, that is the Abecean Sea Ciri is looking out over. If she hopped in and swam in a straight line she'd never see land again, and would end up passing over the area where Yokuda used to be and then falling off the map. ohmy.gif

I don't get the point of why they come along with the player then, if they don't help - or why they are so relieved that they survived when they did no combat; it was just strange, laugh.gif

To me, if I was making the game, I'd have had them fight and die in honorable combat by your side so it isn't just you on Molag. Maybe have each take down a percentage of his health or something. l

The Aldmeri Dominion Harborage is lovely. Haa-Rei is very jealous, since the Pact Harborage is in a Daedric ruin.

Everybody's favourite half-giantess. It's not often that Ciri meets someone so significantly taller than herself.

Ahhh, that's better.

The next two do a great job of showcasing Ciri's relative height. Heh, naturally Buffy identifies with the little elf in the last shot. tongue.gif

hazmick, Ciri is just as you described her in Haa-Rei’s story! She looks great, and very capable of taking on the various disasters that her world will throw at her. I love the picture of Ciri with Andraste.

Spider summit is adorable. biggrin.gif

As cool as the Refuge of Dread picture looks, I’m in love with the Abecean Sea one. (Big surprise, right?) Really neat the way the sun looks with her staff.

Everything is more beautiful in Auridon, I think that’s on their tourism brochures!

I love the picture of Ciri with Glaras. That outfit looks awesome on her, and the contrast with her woodland cousin makes me smile. happy.gif
