Exactly right! I actually posed and took that shot with this thread in mind. I tried to include enough of Solitude in the background to help without overdoing it. Good analysis.

No to both, and perhaps I should refine my comment. There aren't usually two dragons here. I.e there is usually only one.

If it is not too much of a hint; are those dragon bones there all the time, or did you just kill it?

One of the dragons is normally there (alive) but when the character went to kill it, another came and joined in the fun. So we ended up with two dead dragons at the same place.

I've had the glitch where the skeleton of a dragon that's been killed will follow the player around when fast travelling. That's not what happened here. Shortly before this shot, they were both alive and a real problem!

I'm pretty confident there is a dragon wall just to the left of the shot and I do remember at least one of the walls has a few shacks in the area. I'll be darned, though if I can remember which one.

I think it's that place above Shor's Stone, but I can't think of the name. I'm sitting waiting for a haircut, maybe one of the ladies here will know.

Short answer: Northwind Summit!

Longer answer: I knew the place was an outdoor dragon wall - just couldn't recall which one. The Shor's Stone clue really narrowed it down. I had to peek at UESP to recall it was Northwind Summit, and ghastley's clue about the nearby mine passage of similar name to get there cinched it. Oddly, I did remember that NW Summit is a place you can get one of the Aura Whisper words.

Despite our difficulties, that was a great shot for this thread, ghastley - and insightful clues.
