I heartily concur. Nobody, and I mean nobody, takes my heart the way Maxical can. Her vivacious and infectious manner will stay with me forever. Thanks for bringing back an image of her again, mALX. **** I have a question- Has anybody here played the Witcher series. I just bought number 3 on Xbox and hooked up online to see how many updates and free content they added. It said 18GB. Insane! This post has been edited by Winter Wolf: Jul 28 2016, 09:54 AM

I just bought number 3 on Xbox and hooked up online to see how many updates and free content they added. It said 18GB. Insane! The Witcher 3 is an amazing game. They all pretty much are. Very dark, very adult, story/lore heavy and almost every decision is morally gray. One thing to know, the happy endings of many games are pleasantly absent from the Witcher. Sometimes your actions will have effects you didn't intend amd sometimes those effects will hurt people you care about or leave you feeling like you should've made a different choice. For the most part though there are no mustache twirling villians (with the exception of the Wild Hunt) and everyone is looking out for their best interest while trying to propel their king or faction to the top of the heap. The last game shakes all this up and shows that the series is never really predictable and is well written. In the second game there are 4-5 major differences in the endings. The third game is a bit more straightforward but with equally important decisions and multiple endings. I'm a big fan because up until the Witcher the true RPG was a drowning genre. Not many great ones for a disappointing period of time. The devs are good too, not charging for small dlc pieces and only for the full fledged expansion packs. They are also pretty good about patching problems quickly. I think you'll love it if you give it a chance.

I think it´s an interesting concept, maybe you just need to take it a bit slower. I could be wrong of course but I get the feeling you´re kinda rushing your characters instead of really taking the time developing them I think the problem was starting in Anvil. Starting in the Imperial City, Anvil would have been one of the less immediate quests, and would have taken some time to get to. Kazimir would probably have been level four or five by the time he got there, and things would have played out differently. But starting in Anvil it's natural to take that Guild Quest first, because it's a pretty long trip out there to do one quest that's required to get access to the Arcane University. That and I really wasn't expecting Caminalda to throw lightning bolts around. I've never seen her do that before.
