We have Hollywood to thank for a lot of things, including pushing gang violence as cool. We have a major culture problem when it comes to TV.

And the casual usage of the N-word. Tarantino films in particular are pretty difficult to watch because of it.

Job news: It seems I´ll get a short-term non-paid job within the program I have. My parents´ landlord said he could take me on and have me do this and that but none of us know for how long. I think it´s about three or four weeks but I´ll find out soon. He won´t be paying me, I´ll get what I get from the same place as now. The idea is that it could lead to me getting hired although he said from the start he has no such plans at the moment. Whatev, I´ll do what I´m supposed to do and that´s that.

Sounds suspiciously like you and your parent's landlord are jacking the system,

It's pretty much just an accumulation of little things, but get enough of them together and they can really add up



We had some government crap like that for a while, forcing people to work for their unemployment benefits, meaning not only couldn't they find work(because they were too busy working) but there were fewer jobs available because companies would rather get someone in via the program than actually hire someone.

Not quite. You have been paid all this time for not working, now you are having to work for (a month to earn all that money that they are/have been paying you). Most def not a slave; they are trying to prod you into productivity, making you earn it for a while;




Yeah, I hate when that happens! But - would rather have a bunch of little things adding up than one big one. At least with the little things you have a chance of picking away at them and lessening the bulk one (small) issue at a time. Can't do that if it is one huge problem. Find which you can unload and do it; it gives you some relief and kind of rallies you when you can vanquish even the small issues. (At least that always works for me).

Yeah, the little things are definitely better than the big things, but it's still an annoyance to have to plow through them.
