QUOTE(Grits @ Sep 4 2016, 09:27 PM) That would be awesome. It’s still fun to get together through screenshots, though, like we did for Aravi’s videos. Lil had a friendly Young Wasp following her for a while, and I managed to get a picture of it. She’s presently wearing a mix of Khajiit and Bosmer style gear, since she is not a fan of her level’s long-sleeved Bosmer tops. I love those friendly wasps!!! Lildereth is gorgeous! And I also love her Jackel. Is that heavy armor? GAAAAAH! Are you saying that different levels have different looks to the armors? Urk, I just wasted half a day making armors and taking screenshots of them! Grrrrr.

QUOTE(haute ecole rider @ Sep 5 2016, 07:57 PM) Okay, before I fire up ESO tonight and lose track of time (again) let me share a few screenies. First, I started Julian in the Daggerfall Covenant. It was a natural choice for her. Due to the characteristics of this ESO game, though, ESO Julian is a different personality than the Oblivion Julian we all know. She is much more cautious, and will turn her back on a quest because it feels too overpowered for her. Still, we progressed enough to handcraft a Rawhide Armor set for her (she prefers medium armor). Unlike Oblivion Julian, ESO Julian is using more magic. Weird, as this is 2nd Era Tamriel, and Redguards haven't yet fully assimilated into Imperial culture, so magicka aversion should be strong in this race, right? Nope, not as far as Julian is concerned. Her primary weapon is Strife. With magicka enhancing rings/amulets, she can get three or four strikes in before she runs out. And she seldom runs out unless she is taking on a big enemy (Specter of Lord Velian comes to mind - he took six tries before she finally killed him). We did figure out how to dye the armor so it suits her taste and better reflects her origins in Hammerfell. We call it her Desert Storm armor. She made the various pieces at Levels 7-9 so they were useful. But she missed having a good strong sword to go with the shield she had been given as a quest reward. Last night we had a surprise encounter with mALX's Bubba. He gave her a full Level 14 medium armor and weapon set (including sword and board). It is Breton style, not Redguard, but Julian likes it very much. She did find the color a little dark (!), so we went back to the dyeing station and turned it into her Desert Storm palette. I sense a theme coming on - it seems that she is so attached to this color combination that we will be dyeing all of her armor sets this way for quite some time! That's okay, we both like the way she looks in this outfit. Julian is particularly fond of the curved sword Curved. Sword. she received along with the armor, and the matching shield to go with it is not too big. She can't wait to get back out in the field and try them out. We are discussing heading back to Stros M'Kai to gather more star metal just in case she decides to retire and go into blacksmithing/leather crafting (more likely she'll meet an Orc friend who will do that for her . . .). In the meantime, she is considering her next adventure.I'm really surprised how pretty the Breton gear is! I'm glad she likes it! Julian looks Awesome! And I see she is flipping coins already!

Acadian, thank you! I love being able to change her hairstyle now. (I got the hairstyle pack from the Crown store.) I remember when I discovered you could dye clothing, I immediately thought of Buffy’s magically colored outfits in Skyrim. And now she can magically color them in ESO! haute, ESO Julian looks fabulous! I love the colors she has chosen. The Breton gear looks great on her. mALX, thanks! In that picture Lil is wearing mostly medium armor and a heavy belt plus one light piece, I think her invisible hood (so that she levels all three armor lines). Her shoulders are Breton, chest piece Khajiit, and the rest is Bosmer style. Yes, the same armor motif will look at least slightly different in the various materials. Sometimes very different, for example the Bosmer female medium armor goes from the cropped top look in Rawhide and Hide to a more coverage look in the higher level materials. QUOTE(SubRosa @ Sep 5 2016, 09:08 PM) Julian is looking really good. One thing I do admire about ESO is the character appearance building. It allows you to create the best-looking characters of all the ES games.
Her Bubba armor is really cool. The big leather pieces in the first color scheme fit her skin tone better though. But I do think the lighter cloth of the re-dyed version goes better with her hair. It is too bad you cannot do with the dark brown leather and grey cloth, I think that would match up with her skin and hair perfectly.
Julian and I went back to the dyeing station and tried what you suggested. Then we took pics of Julian in Stros M'Kai so to take advantage of the desert sun and sand that she is used to. I do like how it changes the shield colors, but Julian thinks the cuirass is too dark. And yes, that's her pocket dragon! Named Puff the Magic Drake, of course! Great for mosquito control, especially with Zika virus and malaria circulating around. This morning we rolled a new toon, one I had been thinking about for support for Julian. Please welcome Mazul gra Duroch. She's a DragonKnight and is going to try playing as a tank. Accordingly, I built her to be a big, strong girl who won't back down from a fight. In fact, she does have a tendency to charge into the fray, and I have to hold her back and convince her to soften up her enemies first with a few spells. She's now at Level 3 (we skipped the tutorial dungeon) and is recruiting crew members for the Captain back in Stros M'Kai. We busted the Scoundrel out of the Grave, and now she is taking a few moments (more like the night in game) to think over what she has learned about combat and staying alive so far. She is also actively gathering materials for crafting - I think she already has decided she will be a Forge Master (as opposed to a Forge-wife), so that should be good for her as she progresses through the levels. What a shame, I love those halter top armors! And combined with the Argonian guards it makes a cute shorts and top that also offers protection! http://i.imgur.com/4knhIjX.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/Rww49Ic.png

Aha! This must be the Orc friend you mentioned was going to help Julian with her armor!

QUOTE(Grits @ Sep 6 2016, 06:54 PM) That’s really neat! I would love that mod. My Saxhleel crafter Stays-Up-Late uses the Cheerful personality, but it only makes him stand differently and occasionally whistle a little tune.
What is Misa wearing in these shots? I love the blue. She looks gorgeous!
The blue cuirass is from the "Morihaus" set (= 3 pieces because she is wearing two rings from the set = 1935 Physical resistance). ** I added weapon damage and spell damage to the rings. (like 125 each) http://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife....of+Morihaus+SetThe greaves and one weapon (duel wield) are from the "Hunding's Rage." (= 2 pieces - 688 weapon crit) http://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife....ng%27s+Rage+SetThe gauntlets and necklace lare from "Storm Knight" set. (2 pieces = 1822 spell resistance) ** the necklace came with +25 weapon damage. http://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife....#39;s+Plate+SetThe belt, boots, helmet, and shoulders plus one weapon (duel wield) are from the Kvatch Gladiator = 5 pieces http://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife....h+Gladiator+SetIf I go to the bow, I lose either the weapon crit from Hunding's Rage or lose my 5 piece bonus off the Gladiator, so ... not happy with this mish-mosh at this moment. My last armor/weapon sets allowed me to bring in the Prismatic on my duel-wield if I wanted to, or play with just my bow that was part of the set - and my necklace and rings were open for anything I wanted. (combo of Nightmother's Gaze and Whitestrake's Retribution). And on top of that, the helmet on this new set looks like a bird died on her head = http://i.imgur.com/lOdJfej.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/nHaonDw.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/IM1fhQ7.pngAnd now you know why she hides her helmet, QUOTE(Acadian @ Sep 6 2016, 07:10 PM) Neat, mALX. Buffy got to see the animation mod at work on Calia. As you mentioned, even got some of it on her. . . Misa bored shopppping? Not possible. Is it? She had just paid for all that armor materials and upgrades; bought kutas (etc) for the enchantments, etc - was broke, down to 7,000 gold in the bank = had nothing to shop with, * This post has been edited by mALX: Sep 7 2016, 12:54 AM

mALX, thanks for the info, I can’t believe I didn’t recognize the Morihaus cuirass! That’s what Jerric is wearing. *palms face*The blue looks gorgeous on Misa with her red hair! That’s quite a bird helmet. I think I would hide it, too. Although with all of the monster helmets that people wear now, she fits right in with a dead bird on her head! I don’t think I ever posted this, so here is Darnand in an Ayleid ruin. Part of it was broken into a cavern system. It was so beautiful in there! Also here is a picture of Jerric in Wrothgar. I was about to fiddle with his inventory when an elk walked over and sniffed his butt. It made a noise and kind of nudged him, too. It was funny but mildly alarming. Unfortunately he was not wearing a helm with antlers or horns on it. That would have been funnier.

Some Buffy adventure-wear fashion shots. Here is a full set of Bosmer hide medium armor that dear mALX crafted and enchanted for Buffy. Screenshot 1. Here is the same armor after Buffy spent some time at the dying station with it. Forest green and tan are definitely her adventuring colors. Screenshot 2. Expecting that higher level medium armors will look less and less attractive, Buffy has a couple costumes that she has dyed. She figures both of these look pretty 'ranger adventuress' and can hide her real armor if is starts to look less nice than the beautiful rawhide/hide. Slightly more substantial ranger outfit. Screenshot 3. Somewhat lighter duty ranger outfit. Screenshot 4.

Here we go: Regular outfit, medium Pact style armour. Cavalier of the Sworn OathCenturion Dress Armo(u)rImperial Guard Centurion UniformTreasure Hunter - Probably my favourite costume. Valenwood SpinnerWe use Automatron Bronze and Hunter Green dyes for everything. We like the subtle Dwemer colour the bronze gives to metal, and it gives non-metal a nice shade of brown. The Hunter Green is just a good shade of green.
