QUOTE(Acadian @ Sep 17 2016, 11:33 AM) mALX just gifted her with a fabulous set of armor that is similar to Calia's but in Bosmer style - so that should help her for quite awhile.
Oh, and she got tired of waiting to see if the crown store was going to offer the palomino again and brought back Superian's Oblivion colors (black with white feet, mane, tail).
Actually, Buffy's new armor is the duplicate of Misa's, not Calia's. But since making that one for Buffy, Calia is now wanting one too. She is only level 24, which is the change point for armor; so I'm making her wait till she gets level 26 before making her a new armor. Meanwhile she is wearing Whitestrake's Retribution (screens later). Ooh, congrats on the new horse! I can't wait to see it! QUOTE(Grits @ Sep 17 2016, 12:21 PM) Acadian, Jerric thought of Superian when he first saw that black and white horse. The palomino is available as part of the Gold bundle (the game plus 4 DLC I think). I'm glad Buffy has a mount she is happy with, and as always things are subject to change! Fabulous news that Buffy has found a set of skills that work plus some interesting crafts to support them! I just saw that Palomino "Gold Edition" thing too; I wish when they make bundles they would take into account their loyal fan base who already paid for the game (twice in my household) - make a lower bundle price for any two DLC; or offer us the Palomino again! But it (the Palomino) was popular enough that I'm sure it will be back. This post has been edited by mALX: Sep 17 2016, 05:54 PM

Lildereth had a religious experience in Greenshade. Here's the aftermath:
***
Jerric staggered up the stairs to his rented room at the Cold Moon Inn. Music and laughter sounded from the tavern downstairs as well as through the window at the end of the corridor. Something made him pause and set down his ale before he unlocked the door. He entered with a hand on his belt knife.
Lildereth knelt in the center of his bed in her white flannel nightdress, brushing her hair. Her packs sat next to his with her cloak folded neatly over them. She smiled at him.
"Sprig! You made it! In time for the—" Jerric gestured with his empty hand, then noticed its emptiness and picked up the ale. "The whatever this is!"
"Is this the same party as last time? It's hard to tell."
Jerric shut the door and kissed the top of her head in greeting. "How did you find me?"
"I heard Thane Jeggi was staying here. That seemed unlikely, so I checked the rooms until," she picked up a pillow and sniffed it, "I found yours."
"Yeah, I've been here three days already."
"So I smell. How was Kvatch?"
"Grim." Jerric pulled off his boots. "How was Greenshade?"
Lildereth crawled over and sat up on her knees so she could put her arms around Jerric's neck, gaining his rapt attention. She pressed her forehead to his in her most foreign and endearing gesture. They shared a breath.
"I am redeemed," she murmured.
There was a lightness about her that Jerric had only seen before in unguarded moments. She sat back down and picked up her brush again.
"What happened? Are you going to tell me about it?"
"No." Lildereth gave him a tired smile. "Can we just go to sleep?"
"Uh," Jerric stalled. He had planned to pass out, but now he didn't want to miss being awake with her. "Are you hungry? I can get us a meal."
"No, thank you."
"Do you want some ale?"
"I already cleaned my teeth."
"I could rub your feet?"
"No," Lildereth giggled, "but good effort."
He sighed. "Should I take a bath?"
"If you have to ask…"
Jerric watched her for another moment. Some wood elf thing I probably wouldn't even understand, he decided. Maybe she'll tell Darnand and he'll tell me about it.
Lildereth put down her brush and slid her legs under the furs. "I'll leave a candle burning for you," she hinted.
"Thanks." Jerric shed his tunic and socks on the way to the door. Then he turned back to look at her again. "Whatever it was, I'm glad about it."
"Mmm. Oh, wait, I almost forgot to ask you something!" She sat up and snorted the hair away from her eyes. "If you're not too busy, would you like to go with me to a wedding?"

Jerric's having a bath!? And here I thought the Planemeld was the craziest thing happening in Tamriel Did a bit of thinking the other day, as one does, and decided that I needed a new character. Haa-Rei is a sorcerer/ranger, Trivea is a nightblade, and Cirinwe is...another sorcerer. The issue is that Ciri is scared of destruction magic (fire especially) so she was just using restoration, and thus struggling as a lone adventurer. So I had a chat with Ciri and she decided that she'd like to try something new. A quick restart later and sorcerer Cirinwe has been reborn as templar Cirinwe. The templar abilities all revolve around healing and Aedric light - basically what Ciri is all about. She's still the same womer, but now she wears heavy armour and hits people as well as throwing spells at them. It's a lot of fun, and it suits her perfectly. Poor Haa-Rei almost had a heart attack when I told him to make Ciri some heavy armour, but after seeing her in it he quite likes the new Ciri too.

So Mazul leveled up to - I think it's 14 - today. She is still crafting and still adventuring, taking things steady and systemically. She has cleared the Skyshards and Lore Books from the southern half of Glenumbra, and only has the northern part left to go. While taking back Camlorn, she got an invite to join the Brothers of Troy guild. It's a group of people who just like to game (I whispered to the guy who invited me to learn more about it, then decided to give it a try). I figure if Mazul and Julian don't like it, we can just leave the guild. But the key here is that I can ask for help in group dungeons if I need it. We'll see how it works out. After that adventure, it was time to take Julian out. We went back to the Koeglin Village area and relit the lighthouse and killed the slaver captain. Then we went into a dungeon and picked up a couple more skyshards before returning to Wayrest. I left her in the Fighters Guild waiting to find out what Sees-All-Colors needs. In some ways the woman reminds me of Kud-Ei back in Bravil. Julian also leveled up - 20 as of last night. Both girls are buying horse storage like crazy. They also chipped together and bought more bank space. So things are easing up inventory wise. We are also starting to leave our raw materials in the bank and carry only our refined/crafted stuff with us. I really need to start incorporating potions/provisions into our gameplay. It was never something we used much in Oblivion or Skyrim, as I found little value in those things. However, things are getting challenging for my two ladies, so I'm thinking about using more of Julian's potions and provisions. Aaaand that's the update! Getting late, and I have another busy day tomorrow, so I'm off to bed now. I want to get a couple hours more of ESO in tomorrow morning before I leave for work, but I can only do it if I get up early enough . . .

QUOTE(Grits @ Sep 18 2016, 05:15 PM) ADDED: I forgot to say I have never seen a female wearing the white wedding dress in game, but I've seen lots of huge orc and Nord males wearing it. Slim-hipped leggy Aninah looks great in the noble and wedding suits. It's neat to see how people dye them different colors.
* Yes, the Nord in his wedding dress is like the Scott in his kilt: http://i.imgur.com/NOsai8p.pngHow can you tell they are Nords? Easy: http://i.imgur.com/ijfL1LU.pngBut then ... huh? http://i.imgur.com/Rtn2gqH.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/K2kCQOB.pngSo not all huge bearded Nords? No, this is (or used to be) a Guild. All males in wedding dresses, and they had large enough member roster to have a bank! But yeah, Misa and Calia both preferred the male outfit on them. Then again, Misa wanted the desert pirate outfit with the towel on the head like a Keffiyeh: http://www.keffiyehs.com/wp-content/upload...515ZfIrMJTL.jpg* QUOTE(hazmick @ Sep 18 2016, 11:04 PM) Jerric's having a bath!? Acadian, I love that about our elves, too. It's also struck me that while Lil hides her heart, Jerric is the one who wears his on his sleeve. It makes Buffy all the more endearing to me. Thank you, Acadian! I think of these snapshots as magical between-the-worlds moments, so it's fun for me to see what happens. SubRosa, thank you! That was my most intensely emotional game experience with Lil. I didn't know if she would ever find peace in her story, but now I see what it will take for her. hazmick, I love the Templar skills. They just feel so righteous. What does Templar Ciri hit people with? hautee, my crew all rely on provisions to beef up their attribute pools. They use the drinks for specific situations, but mostly they all use food. And of course they all learn the basic recipes so they can cook when they're traveling. I love that you can catch a fish and turn it into a meal. mALX, those Nords must be in a naked boots-and-beard guild, lol. That looks like a fun party!

Tried out an axe earlier but it just didn't feel right, and hammers look too...heavy. Thinking of going for resto staff on her second bar once we unlock more skills for it.

QUOTE(Acadian @ Sep 22 2016, 01:35 AM) Hazmick, I'm very interested in learning more about Templars. I have a concept for a magicka templar using destruction staves and no melee except aedric spear. Light armor.
It would most definitely work. I think all the Templar abilities are magicka based anyway, and staff damage scales off magicka. Light armour should work too, with its magicka bonuses. Templar is a really mage-y class, with some great damage-dealing spells and the best healing in the game. Haute - Colors is a great character, and Argonians are more beautiful than ever in ESO - I love all the water metaphors they throw into conversation, it gives me loads of stuff to work into my own stories. The Fighters Guild questline is pretty good, plenty of things for Mazul to hit with a good storyline mixed in.

Acadian, you have just described Aninah. This playstyle is just glorious. Jerric is presently leveling Destruction Staves (while using sword and board/ greatsword) so he can re-spec and take a turn at magicka-based Templar with an ice staff, that's how awesome it is. Templar self-healing is strong from the very beginning, even Stamina-based, melee Jerric has been able to rely on it. Mage-ranger Aninah rarely needs to heal herself, but when she gets stuck with numerous foes she can get through it by herself. I think you are making a great plan. Another favorite Argonian expression is "Stay moist." Jerric had to bite his cheek the first time a grateful Argonian called him "Moist One." He is generally awed by the mystical Saxhleel folk. Lildereth has started using her fear spell along with Mark Target and her bow. She finally feels like herself. Her skill set is stealthy and manipulative, and I doubted that it would ever come together. My other Stamina Nightblade uses the melee-type Nightblade abilities with dual daggers, and he has been easy to play from level 1. The last thing Lil needs to get is the Summon Shade ability, but she's getting by without it. I think she is going to be able to go solo through a lot of things that now she has to wait around for backup to do. Whew!
