QUOTE(mirocu @ Oct 13 2016, 03:54 PM) QUOTE(Kiln @ Oct 13 2016, 04:40 PM) Solstheim is arguably the most beautiful place in the game. I loved the snow and introduction of lycanthropy into the game.
You tell me; I felt like coming home! Never was too much of a fan of Morroowind´s alien nature even though it was interesting, but upon reaching Solstheim I was lost forever in the most goodliest of ways possible Personally I always loved how alien Morrowind was, especially when you got things like the Telvanni mushroom towers, or those weird Netch things. And the city of Vivec was just fantastic, once you figured out how to get around it. That said, I also love the familiar and comfortable setting of Oblivion. I end up getting a little too relaxed while my characters are travelling, making enemies on the roads far more surprising QUOTE(Kiln @ Oct 13 2016, 03:58 PM) Callidus: Yeah 5-6 was meant to be a pretty conservative number. I got hit with tons at once too at times.
But it was so satisfying the first couple of times it happens, when the dust settles and you can't see the floor through the cliff racer bodies that cover it. And then it happens for the twentieth time and you just wanted to scream at the computer

Here's hoping that we'll get more alien type stuff by the time TES: Elsweyr, Black Marsh, and Valenwood roll around.

QUOTE(mirocu @ Oct 13 2016, 03:48 AM) Thanks, mALX! Figured I should have learnt the difference when I was certified though... As long as you know the diff between humans and whatever you are shooting at, that is the main thing, QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Oct 13 2016, 09:57 AM) Ah but there is only one Khajiit and many crazy half fish people cultists. They aren't really half fish, it is just that half the people there just smell like fish. QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Oct 13 2016, 10:57 AM) Dunwich building had good, creepy atmosphere but Khajiit didn't find it very scary either.
Well Squirrel was very creeped out by it!

Khajiit probably smells a little fishy! Nice ocean for swimming today! QUOTE(mALX @ Oct 13 2016, 12:14 PM) Well Squirrel was very creeped out by it!
Creepy is a good word for it. Like The Gibson House in Minefield. That place is creepy but damn if it doesn't make a good unofficial player home! Just don't make the mistake of putting your excess chems and medicines in the first aid kit. Its haunted! The ghosts of Gibson House like to take out all your chems and meds and replace them with a small sampling of different stuff.

That is where I always live until I can get a house in FO3.

Yep, that's the one! The one with two skeletons on the big bed. It is my "Home away from Home" in game, I love that place. I stay in the child's room there though. I like how clean that child's bed is,

Mornin' all I'm sitting here looking at a stack of games I'm getting rid of later today. Most of them aren't going to be worth much by this point, but they're worth even less sitting around not being played. On a completely unrelated note, I found this, and thought I'd share This post has been edited by Callidus Thorn: Oct 14 2016, 08:47 AM

Tsk, tsk. Have you learnt nothing? At some point everything is basically useless, but at another point further down the road some things can be become pricey collectibles. Just look at the NE...oh, right. But still! The NES games were worthless fifteen years ago and look at them now! A lot of them are back to what they cost when they were new and still you only get the cartridge, not the manual and box! Hang on to them games, Thorny. And thank me in your memoirs This post has been edited by mirocu: Oct 14 2016, 03:50 PM

Just look at what old PC games in the box go for now. They´re highly sought after because of the classic stamp they´ve gotten now. Not to mention SNES and Mega Drive games, the list goes on. Sometimes the collectors doesn´t even have something to actually play them on but they still want the games. Of course, to get most out of the games one has to reach the correct market but so what. That goes for anything you´re trying to sell

It's not a relative of yours, is it? As for the games: Monster Hunter Generations Pokemon Y Dishonored Fallout New Vegas (I have the ultimate edition) Dragon Age Origins(as above) Red Dead Redemption Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Rainbow Six Vegas Got £40 for them. And thank me in your memoirs But most of these games are for the 360. Discs won't survive long enough to become collectable, while Nintendo cartridges virtually need to be intentionally damaged to stop them from working

QUOTE(mirocu @ Oct 15 2016, 03:10 PM) You may have a point, Thorny. But collectors who love the system will still collect the games regardless of whether or not they actually work. Trust me, I have inside scoop on this Eh, I think they produce the games on too large a scale for them to become collectable anytime in the next century QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Oct 15 2016, 05:38 PM) And so it was that Khajiit's last full day of vacation arrived. The winds whipped the sea into white capped fury and brought with them dark clouds which blot out the sun. *Sigh*
