QUOTE(Renee @ Oct 21 2016, 09:35 PM) It's springtimefor Reneein Cyrodiil! Even the ents approveGabby learns some moves (hopefully) (all springtime shots are inspired by Betty's Springtime Overhaul) 2 very cute girls in that last shot !!! One thing I loved so much about Oblivion was the beautiful sunshine and grass! Great shots, though I'm not thrilled with the addition of the Ent beasts!

Even the ents approveGabby learns some moves (hopefully) (all springtime shots are inspired by Betty's Springtime Overhaul) Enjoyable shots! I've long wanted to see flocks of birds and and such in my version of Cyrodiil. Alas. My poor old CPU just doesn't have the horsepower for the those extra A.I. packets. Boy would I like to build an intel i7 6700k / nvidia GTX 1070 based system, but unplanned financial setbacks always get in the way. Such is life, I reckon. As for myself, I recently grabbed a couple of captures in an only partially successful attempt to show off a newly installed "wet" variant of Bettys Sewer Textures (and meshes), seen below in conjunction with Cava Obscura, which reduces lighting in dungeons of all sorts. Image 1: My avatar entering a entering a new cavern. Image 2: Examining a corpse. I ought to have slightly lightened image one during post processing, as it looks drabber as a still than it did while composing the shot in-game. Image two seems closer to what my avatar experienced. Neither show "wetness" to advantage, imo, though again image two takes a stab at it.

Oh nice, Betty's got a wet retexture too? I'll have to check that out. It's a shame Betty started her modding career sort of late (in comparison to others well-known, like Arthmoor and Maskar) she should get way more endorsements than she does. QUOTE(mirocu @ Oct 25 2016, 03:47 PM) Cool shots, Renee. Really didn´t recognize Cyrodiil there Are you gonna keep it as is? No, I'll only use this mod during First Seed, Rain's Hand, and Second Seed (roughly March through May), and I'll use the Autumn version during Frostfall, Sun's Dusk, and Evening Star.

The wetness in the second pic looks awesome, they did a good job with the mod!

Looking good Decrepit! My how time moves on - I'm sure that the last time I was on here your Avatar and you were still doing the rounds above ground - the patrols and so forth - you guys must be branching out! (Or am I just behind with the news)...?

(Or am I just behind with the news)...? My avatar's cleansing of the IC Sewer was and is an extraordinarily rare occurrence. The gang still spends the vast preponderance of their time patrolling Cyrodiil's roadways, collecting taxes and delivering merchandise. Discounting that one sewer visit, I'm not sure he's been below ground in ages except for periodic forays into Rockmilk to gather Black Bows for the lord of Layawiin (as well as amass loot for his Second Hand Sales Shoppe). Were he tasked to perform assignments that require him to enter caves, ruined forts and the like he will certainly do so, and in fact might welcome them as a break in routine. But those sorts of missions don't seem to exist any more, a downside of doing one's job too well I suppose. This post has been edited by Decrepit: Nov 23 2016, 11:11 AM

There's a comforting consistency to his activities that helps to provide some nice background grounding. I tend to hold characters like him in the back of my mind when I'm writing and playing. My characters tend to be so hectic and all over the place that it's often good to think that there are other characters in the world who are in some sense the complete antithesis. I may actually write him in, if that's alright with you...

Not that you need it, but you have my blessing to include my avatar within your depiction of Nirn should you so choose. I've done this sort of thing to a very limited extent myself, though of the two instances in which it occurs only one has been made public. (Hint, the public one appears at almost the very end of episode four of my short-lived YouTube video series.) Well thank you very much, I shall see about giving him a walk-on part somewhere down the line. (On a side-note, it just seems polite to ask permission, to me. These characters are I always think, very personal creations, and it would feel a bit weird to include someone else's without asking. If that makes sense).
