My favorite sword in Oblivion is the Honor Blade of Chorrol. Hands down!

The Honor Blade is just a regular Ebony Longsword, but it's weightless, as a quest item, and can be obtained earlier than usual for ebony. It makes a great weapon for a lowish-level character.

I think being weightless may also make it faster than it should be.

Yes to all except possibly the speed, I think that is a stat it is given, not based on weight. And you didn't mention this, but I will = it levels up with the player, just like your "Knights of the Nine" stuff did!

The quest you have to start for it to appear is relatively easy, too; just perfect for a low level character! I always worked my way to Chorrol to get it early on in the game, and it is still my favorite weapon as the Champion of Cyrodiil at level 50!

Unfortunately, that means I have to carry an unfinished quest in my journal, because if you turn it in you lose it; if you turn it in another way and buy it back you just get a standard ebony blade instead of the awesome one you just handed the guy = so I never do turn it in; laugh.gif

Yep, you should. It's in this one's top 3 games of all time. Still highly playable today, though Khajiit is sure the graphics on your 3DS version are a lot better than the Wii version he is playing. Still, a great example of graphics<great gameplay.
