They're not half bad.

I have to admit, it does look quite good.

I fear the inrush of the masses who will do nothing but gripe about it for several months before moving on.

One of the reasons I don´t have any plans to register

So far (after one post, lol) I like it. I have heard from a number of people who will be playing Skyrim for the first time as SSE. Most of them were too young in 2011. I like to see a community get new life and energy, especially when it's as positive as the excitement I've seen.

I do note that there are forums for:
Skyrim SE
Oblivion
Morrowind

But nothing for "Skyrim classic" or whatever the 32-bit version is now called. I know they want to keep discussions separate, so people don't get confused between Skyrim and Skyrim, and what works in one but not the other. However, a simple redirect to the old site would be possible, wouldn't it? I suspect they'll get the problem they're trying to avoid, this way.

I don't know whether to laugh at Bethesda or cry right now. They're making the same mistake again, launching the forums before they're ready, because they're better than their first attempt. Even though their old forums are better than either of them.

They won't find out what wrong until they launch them, so the big questions are whether they listen, and whether they can fix what we report as broken. I think the Jive stuff was hard to fix, rather than Beth weren't listening, so I'm hopeful.

They needs a 'jump to first unread post' option.

Except that they know they're missing features that they should have, because they plan to add them later. They even say as much in the thread over at Bethsoft. This thing reminds me of the start of Star Trek Generations. I'm wondering if one of the Moderators is going to be unable to log in or something because some important feature won't be active until tuesday

The medical staff....doesn't arrive until Tuesday.

They need some background color, but seem to be working quickly and have some user friendliness from what I saw.
