QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Oct 30 2016, 08:47 PM) Lol, poor fellow at the Bethsoft Forums is having a hard time fighting in Morrowind. I remember those days before I fully understood the way the wonky system works.
Heh, I think everyone who played Morrowind had that problem to start with

I thought it was pretty simple. You stand in front of your opponent and mash the attack button until one of you is dead. Well yeah, but you have to contend with the hit/miss rolls too that I didn't really understand at first. That sort of thing was more for turnbased type games, whereas all of the open world type games I had played to that point were all hack and slash. It was a little different

Tell me about it, you can't cast spells very well and your combat accuracy is worse then a dizzy blind man trying to hit a pinata.

Yeah like if you weren't attacking the way the weapon is intended to be used (slash, chop, thrust), you could end up doing very little damage per attack. Man I love that game.

And you were supposed to hold the attack button briefly, to get the maximum damage out of the attack. There was so much in that combat system it still boggles the mind. I really wish they'd kept at least some of it Edit: Is it weird that I find it kind of odd that you don't talk like a Khajiit anymore? Well you could hold the attack down for a power attack, but it would fatigue you more. As for talking like a Khajiit, I'm sure that one will turn up again soon...
