Two words: standards compliance.
A lot of sites that work in compliant browsers break in IE. However, right now, I'm running Bethsoft in Chrome, because it broke in Firefox. They've probably fixed it, since they update the stupid thing every other day. Actually it's Bethesda's fault, because they're using https with a cross-site style sheet, and FF objects to that.
