I know that the riding lessons (Speed, Stamina, and Storage) only affect the PC that is taking them. Mazul started behind Julian and her storage/inventory reflected that. But thanks to the riding lessons, they are now pretty close in their inventory slots.
Thanks, hazmick, for the answers. Acadian and I were chatting in game about that and he said if anyone knew, you would! That's why I thought I'd post on here . . .
and one more question: I have the Wolf's Tooth Necklace taking up space in Mazul's inventory. She wants to get rid of it, but I'm too cautious to let her do so.
Is it useful for something, or just best sold for gold?

It's a trophy, and collecting various trophies completes achievements (which can be found in your character's journal). I think on the PC version there should be an option to 'use' or activate the item to check it off the achievement list. The only reward for completing the achievement is 10 achievement points (which have no use in the game). I like to keep trophies, since Haa-Rei always collects stuff (Dwemer cutlery in Morrowind, minotaur horns in Oblivion, sabre cat teeth in Skyrim) but if Mazul wants to sell the necklace and you're not bothered about achievements then there's no reason not to.

Because those things take up room in inventory, I thought you could sell them and still retain the achievement. They can't be activated or put into the bank; can't be sold to guild stores; only merchant NPCs. This post has been edited by mALX: Oct 3 2016, 04:05 AM

I'm pretty sure you get the achievement just from picking it up, so selling shouldn't be a problem, but I've read a few threads on the forums about the trophies not being recognised straight away (or not at all). You can check your achievement progress in the journal, so you can see which trophies have been marked as 'collected' and sell them. This post has been edited by hazmick: Oct 3 2016, 05:55 AM

I've been selling or destroying them once I couldn't put them in the bank!

QUOTE(Acadian @ Oct 3 2016, 12:43 PM) My only interest in achievements is that they unlock more colors for fashion-conscious elves to use at the dye stations. I actually didn't know about this (dye colors for achievements) for quite a while, I'm just an achievement hound. I blame XBox 360 for that, they drove me to wanting to gain achievements while playing, lol. That is the truth. I never even wanted to play an evil character in Fallout 3, but they had an achievement on the 360 that you could get for reaching certain stages of the game as an evil, good, and neutral character. I just had to do it, just to get that achievement, This post has been edited by mALX: Oct 3 2016, 09:48 PM

Answering from my phone, sorry if there is weirdness. You should have gotten an email when you bought or registered your game with an invitation to join the forums through a link. I remember it was a big pain, but eventually it worked. If your invitation link is gone, perhaps email customer support and explain you need a new invitation? Good luck!! I'm mikkeofgreenriver on the forums, all flavor of Grits were taken.

Glad you're on, Acadian! I feel the same way about the atmosphere on their forums. I go there for information but rarely feel like staying. Too much PvP in the threads. I snagged a PC Gold Edition and some Crowns on sale, but my poor laptop quit while Jerric was still in the Wailing Prison. Oh well, now I'm ready to go whenever I get a new rig. And since Mr. Grits got knee surgery for an early Christmas present, that might be a while! Oh, and apparently there is already a "Jerric" running around on the PC NA server somewhere. When we finally get there, we're going to have to hunt him down and buy that guy a drink!
