Don't know why this didn't come to mind until now. It's definitely an all time favorite utterance, the culmination of what I consider one of the most magnificently executed "episodes" in all literature:
"Kneel and swear to the Dragon Reborn . . . or you will be knelt." Just thinking about the 100 or so pages leading up this line has my eyes misting. -------------------- |
