QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Jan 4 2017, 05:25 PM) Mira has been working to uncover the mystery behind her banishment to and subsequent release from Coldharbour. She guessed right about . She is now off to Hammerfell to find a key to getting into Sancre Tor.
"You're angry. It is to be expected." Nope, not really. I love how everyone seems to give even their mules an identity. Makes me feel bad about just throwing mine away when they serve their purpose. Even if "identity" is a theme I'm rolling with for my ESO characters.Let's just say Jo'zira tried with the first (Ruben Lacroix, a name I'll be reusing for TES VI) and then gave up (Shaggy Bookkeeper, Emergency Skeleton Storage, Why This? Storage). Even Crafting Monkey Dravean was little more than a lifeless slave doll at first. This post has been edited by monkeyemoness: Jan 5 2017, 02:31 AM

Lol, yeah Khajiit doesn't really get why Mira was supposed to be angry, but whatevs. This one made a "hold this crap" type character and then made the mistake of playing through Coldharbour with her. Now, Khajiit thinks she has potential and doesn't want to use her as a storage bin. It's caused problems, lol

Well in my case it's because Lagakha is only temporarily a mule, until Haa-Rei and Cirinwe do more crafting research and clear more room in the bank. I've never made a mule that's just a mule. This post has been edited by hazmick: Jan 5 2017, 04:13 AM

QUOTE(hazmick @ Jan 4 2017, 02:25 PM) Bank/inventory space issues mean that a new character has had to be added to our group. Introducing Lagakha gra-Ungol, Orsimer Dragonknight. I've actually been meaning to add her in for a while now, and she was originally a character I made in Skyrim. She's a blind priestess of Kyne, who specialises in frost and earth magic (the latter being a focus of Dragonknights). At the moment she'll just take it easy and hold onto all the crafting motifs and whatnot while Haa-Rei and Ciri work on their crafting and clear some bank space, but I look forward to trying her out in combat some time. Holy Cow, she is Tribal! QUOTE(Grits @ Jan 4 2017, 05:18 PM) Here is Jerric's support crew on the PC: Elke of Green River, the Equipment Crafter. Stam Sorc. She is Jerric's cousin from Whiterun Hold. Lleduri Indaram, Alchemist and Enchantress. Magicka Dragonknight. Lleduri did some naughty things in Skyrim (the game). If she has similar plans for One Tamriel, she's not saying. Pog the Magnificent (not his given name). Stam Dragonknight. He who holds the stuff. Pog is not thrilled about how my laptop's graphic settings treat his body art. Pog is from Kvatch. Sola al-Las'ah, Merchant. Stam Nightblade. This is the one who had to have the brown horse. Jerric met Sola through Rhano. Her name refers to the sting on a scorpion's tail. Added: Oh! Elke leveled up and found a gorgeous orc-metal battleaxe right before I had to quit today. Like, two seconds before. She's still skipping with joy over those developments. Elke is gorgeous! I like the idea of getting to know our bank mules other characters, too! QUOTE(hazmick @ Jan 4 2017, 05:48 PM) QUOTE(Acadian @ Jan 4 2017, 08:35 PM) Hazmick - Cool! Is that her skin and blue warpaint that is working so well with what looks like a dark seducer costume?
Indeed! The paint is actually a black base coat with a blue skeleton design on top. The only part of her body that isn't painted is the top of her head. Here's another shot to show it off. She's a lot less self-conscious than Haa-Rei and Ciri. Anyone who reads my fan fic will meet Lagakha soon. The only character I have yet to bring to PC is Trivea. I keep forgetting (don't tell her I said that). She almost looks like an Ashlander with those tribal markings! I loved seeing the Ashlanders in Stonefalls, wish we could make one for a player character! QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Jan 4 2017, 07:07 PM) Also a random person ran up to Mira wanting to "trade". She accepted and the person just gave her two trait stones for crafting and ran off. Mira saluted the person as a sign of gratitude.
I've been put on the spot that way, and didn't know if I was supposed to give them something from my inventory in return - and while searching for something I didn't mind giving up, they got ticked off and left, lol.

Really, they got mad?! Lol, WTH? It's not like you told them to come over and trade. Ninja trading is going to get a decline from us in the future. Seems like there should be an etiquette to trading like an email sent first stating the intent of the one desiring to trade, what they are looking for, and what they have to offer. Agreed; even a whisper would be nice. I've just turned them down since that incident.

QUOTE(Acadian @ Jan 6 2017, 02:14 PM) Lol. Buffy perceives out of the blue friend requests and trade requests to be about as gracious / socially adept as introducing yourself with, "Hi, can I see if you're wearing panties?" Wait… That's not OK? Jerric found himself in a large group at the Kvatch Arena today waiting for the match to begin. Several of his fellows struck up a band while he and some others took turns entertaining with their Alcaire castle tricks. There was a lot of cheering. New Life is the festival that keeps on giving! He netted zero Morihaus gear in his Gold Coats adventure, but he did find a few books and traits for Elke to study. Also Jerric bumped into mALX's Bubba in the bank today! It was awesome to meet out of the blue like that. That was his first Chorrol friend in-person meeting! Maybe we can have a guild tavern event some time, Jerric will buy the first round.

Totally! This one keeps wondering when we are going to do some Guild stuff...

Oh Haa-Rei knows that feeling. So many weeks spent hunting Limenauruus back on Xbox! Jerric should check out some guild stores, Haa-Rei was just browsing some in Mournhold and there's a ton more stuff in PC guild stores than there was back on Xbox, and switching to keyboard and mouse lets you browse lots more stuff at once than with the gamepad. Plenty of Morihaus rings in the jewellery section (but no Briarheart for Haa-Rei)

Yep, you can buy from the Guild Traders that you see out in the world. You can also buy and sell through the Guild Store of any guild that has you as a member, if the guild has enough members to have a Guild Store. The Guild Stores are accessed through the bank. Here's a quick (less than two minutes) video on the subject: link.

QUOTE(monkeyemoness @ Jan 7 2017, 02:38 PM) Today I made the tough decision of putting up for sale some of the purple set jewelry I found from Dolmen hunting for Draugr Motifs. On one hand, Spriggan and Spinner would greatly benefit Jo'zira and Rats, but on the other I'm not hunting down gear I don't want to wear. That and they're getting nerfed and I should have sold them earlier to get more money.
I might end up killing off my set item mule entirely. Who knows.
Yeah jewelry seems to collect really quick (probably because you can't do anything with it other than sell, give to an alt character, or destroy it. Seems like they should've had a "Jeweler" skill line so you could make your own jewelry, break down, and research traits from found jewelry pieces.

QUOTE(Grits @ Jan 7 2017, 09:58 PM) Jewelry crafting would make a lot of people happy. I need to do a cleanout of the jewelry collection as well. Lots of my characters have extra necklaces crammed in their pockets "just in case," and of course twice as many rings. We are snowed in in Grits world, so in about a half hour I'm going to go to the Gold Coast with Jerric. I think that coffee I had at lunch may not have been decaf. Lol on the bright side you may get a lot done!
