After doing two or three of them long ago and giving them a poor grade, I simply destroy them to get them out of my inventory now. kvright.gif

This one does not mind hunting for them, as long as he has a general area to search. As it is now, the location on the treasure map could be anywhere in the region!

They are numbered, you have to Google the Region and the number. Example: Stonefalls Treasure Map 3

My crew collects maps until Jerric is ready to go treasure hunting. There's something about traipsing all over the place in search of a specific spot that he loves. Also I totally cheat and look at the UESP map markers to narrow it down. Some of the dirt piles are not at all close to the drawing on the map. Plus they can be difficult to see at night.

Lol, I'm glad Jerric didn't decide that a map would be a good gift for Buffy! laugh.gif

Must be something about Nords and searching out minute bits of treasure in the middle of nowhere, lol. Misa likes it too - and I also hoard up the maps and Surveys till I have a bunch to do and then do them all in the same day.

Know what Khajiit is not liking? Treasure Maps! They are so vague! At least give us a named location to start at! Come on!

I had to look them up on the internet before I got the "Lost Treasures" add-on. Now a big red X shows up on my map anytime I get a Treasure Map or Survey = guides me right in, lol.

The Inner Sea Armature was a decent source of Dwemer Motifs in the Pact back when I was searching for them.
Well hopefully it still is! We only have the Maces chapter and this one would like a few more for when Mira and/or Feng gets to a high enough level in their respective crafts.

I get a purple quality motif almost every time I go in. The times I don't, I do get a blue quality motif (don't need any of them, but they do sell well).

IIRC there's a cooldown period to finding the motifs. When you find one, it's best to just move on unless you're also after the style material components. *sighs* I remember when it was the only motif split into chapters...

Anyways, in regards to maps, I just cheat and look at the UESP's ESO map for the locations. I used to give them to Rats because she has the CP perk that improves the quality of items in chests, but until recently it didn't really matter outside of Wrothgar. Also I got tired of keeping track who found the map and thus who deserved the gold found inside. On the subject of quality improvement, I'm going to start saving up the Craglorn maps for Rats to find later. Ra Gada motifs, yo.

BWAAHAA! Another reason I use the European style = all gold earned goes into one big pot where all share the benefits of the gold as needed. If one character needs something, the others all pull together to earn what is needed so the other has it; so it all works out in the end.

I know what it looks like when a player goes into their inventory (like rummaging in a pack). Same for going into the ESO+ craftibag (similar but a fancy pack with stuff hanging off it). What I didn't know was what a player was doing when I saw them kneeling in front of a small glowing chest on the ground. Turns out they are visiting the crown store. There is even an emote so you can see your character doing that action - /crownstore.

Hunh, I was wondering what they were doing with the chest!
So whenever we go into our inventory our character is actually digging through a pack in the game?

Yes. Similarly, when a player is looking at their map, you can see them doing that as well with an unrolled parchment in front of them. smile.gif

We are constantly in and out of our inventory

So while on a Pact mission in Shadowfen, Khajiit and Mira are stuck in an Ayleid ruin. She is supposed to activate two switches on a higher level that will lower a barrier on a door being warded by a Dominion mage. The layout of the ruin is confusing though, and we can't for the life of us figure out how to get to the switches! verysad.gif

Perhaps you're overlooking methods that weren't available in the last game you played? I keep forgetting I can levitate when I switch from Oblivion to Morrowind. wink.gif

Here's what I'd try -
1. Ask for help in game (/zone) or even follow someone else on the quest to see the routing they use.
2. Wait for mALX to come by here. She knows an incredible amount of detail about all things Ebonheart Pact.

I think that's the name, ja

It's more than likely that Khajiit simply didn't explore enough. We'll give it another shot when this one gets home from work.

This was before i started the "motif fund." Now I just dump all gold found this way or from selling certain items into the bank so I can have a dedicated pool of gold to draw from for the motifs i don't feel like grinding for.

I also like my characters to have a certain amount of gold on hand at all times. I find it also lets me see how much use they're getting. Jo'zira doesn't have many "extracurriculars" so his gold count is low and he's still got plenty of supplies (but not enough to sell). He's starting to steal things again. :V

If it is the one I think it is, I had trouble finding the way up too - ended up climbing up on a pile of rubble past the ledge. Once up there I could clearly see where I should have come up; couldn't understand how I missed it.

Khajiit will try again later. Perhaps he'll do better after having a nice beer to relax him!

As an aside, this one loves how we can explore Ayleid Ruins, Daedric Ruins, and Dwemer Ruins all in the same game!

If you still have trouble, post the name of the dungeon and I'll try going through it to see if there is a trick.
