Hopefully the replacement won't be dropped in transit. And the first thing I'm gonna do is take every disc out of that crappy cardboard sleeve and put them all in a case. I just watched Drive Angry. I love that film. Sure, it's excessive and gratuitous, not to mention outright insane. But it owns it. Right from the start it's upfront about exactly what it is: Damn good entertainment Is Drive Angry similar to Fast and Furious movies? Khajiit doesn't care for those. Nothing like Fast and Furious. Nicholas Cage plays a dead man who's broken out of Hell to stop a cult from sacrificing his granddaughter, and is being pursued by "The Accountant". He hooks up with Amber Heard, a muscle car or two, and some guns along the way. A great deal of carnage ensues. Lol, wow! Why have I not heard of this movie?! Because it stars Nicholas Cage? That... could very well be. Not one of Khajiit's favorite actors.

My replacement copy of Breaking Bad has arrived! But I'm not watching it yet. I'm waiting until the disc case I ordered arrives, so I can put the discs in that rather than the cardboard case they came in. Until then, I'm watching Transformers. The original series!

Urk, don't you want to be sure it is a working copy (before the time runs out to let them know if it isn't)?

I just watched A New Hope As much as I love the film, I wish it was my old VHS version that I was watching, instead of the dvd. Love the film, hate Lucas' CGI buggery. Noticed some oddities in it too. Like Han calling Jabba a human being, and Luke's uncle referring to Ben Kenobi as a wizard No idea how I missed those previously.

Re: Han calling Jabba a human being That whole scene was FUBAR, but this one always thought it was just sarcasm on Han's part. Re: Owen calling Obi a wizard Yeah that's just weird. Khajiit would've thought for sure everybody had heard of the Jedi.

Khajiit would've thought for sure everybody had heard of the Jedi. Absolutely, had no business being in the film. But sarcasm seems an odd way to go when a crime lord's just given you extra time to pay what you owe him before he unleashes the bounty hunters. *shrugs* MAybe he was trying to avoid using the word? He does seem to rush the word "wizard". *shrugs again*

1.) Yeah Jabba actually seemed fairly reasonable in that scene which hardly backs up the "vile" descriptor in Return of the Jedi's title crawl. 2.) This could be. This post has been edited by TheCheshireKhajiit: Feb 4 2017, 11:47 PM

Love that show! So does Mirocu! (I speak for him, ) Our Barney shenanigans in the everything thread made me nostalgic. Love this show.

I just finished watching Return of the Jedi. I have no more Star Wars films to watch. The ewoks were annoying, and it seems Mirocu was correct; at no point did I hear anyone call them ewoks. And I had to fast-forward past the singing thing in Jabba's, still have no idea wtf that thing's even doing there. ******* Lucas Still love the film though, even if I have to cut it a little short to avoid the galactic celebrations and the ghost of [s]christmas[/i] Kenobi past
