QUOTE(monkeyemoness @ Mar 10 2017, 04:08 PM) Jo's tendency to get attached to mortals is a thing he doesn't seem to be able to shake off. Related to that, Ruben accidentally took a pile of gold coins in the bank today and discovered he has an admirer. He's still not sure how to feel about being someone's "luscious tuber". If only you could actually follow through and date the guard...BWAAHAA !!! I do like that Clemency, lets you get your stolen goods to the Outlaw Hideout if you are fast, lol.

QUOTE(monkeyemoness @ Mar 12 2017, 12:36 AM) Ugh Gonna wait for Mazzatun and Silken Ring to drop in price a bit. Especially the latter since I actually want Mazzatun.Nice! I want Mazzatun too, it looks awesome.

@monkeyemoness & mALX - Congratulations!! Both of those are awesome achievements. Tasrin-jo is currently a little bit... stuck. After some more exploring/generalised questing/picking up the garret room in Vulkhel Guard as a quest reward (and immediately discovering it's tiny - the Altmer bed she bought at wince-worthy prices barely even fits in there, wow!), she opted to try the first Thieves' Guild quest. Which is why she is currently inside a basket in Fulsom Manor and has been there for a few days now. I might have to abandon the quest entirely because it doesn't mesh well with my twitchy nature, bad reflexes, and godawfully terrible sense of direction in FPS games. However, the one problem I can do something about is the graphics issue; I'm generally on my laptop which I suspect doesn't technically have the specs to run ESO, and it means various objects and especially NPCs can take a long time to actually show up. This isn't usually such a big deal, but being spotted and then attacked by a completely invisible citizen felt like a bit much. So I'm giving it another shot this weekend when I have access to my desktop and everything should display as it should. While Tasrin-jo considers her life and her choices in a basket that smells strongly of fish, a second character has managed to get off Bleakrock Isle and is now exploring Stonefalls and Deshaan. Ervesa Romandas is pretty deeply confused as to why she's suddenly in the Third Era and rather upset that her status of Buoyant Armiger which she worked so hard for is dust, but her natural optimism and helpful nature are preventing her from brooding. It helped that she ran into a quest which involved praying to the Tribunal in Ebonheart; on-screen you're just praying on behalf of someone else, but I like to think she managed to exchange some words with the servant of Vivec in particular which eased her mind. Her current aim is to get an inn room somewhere that isn't enemy territory to rest her head. Once that's achieved... Let's say that I've been struggling with how to divvy up crafting duties, and there's an obvious character who'd strongly prefer sitting at home brewing potions and enchanting items to going out killing things who I'm thinking of plonking into ESO as primary crafter. However, that character definitely won't take the quest route off Bleakrock Isle, so I want a fast-travel room for her in Pact territory before I send her out into the world. That is one of the things I absolutely LOVE about the Ebonheart Pact = working with and for the Tribunal; Almalexia, Vivec, and Sotha Sil = Loved it! Sorry about that Thieves Guild quest, that sounds awful! I remember that quest, almost impossible to do without being spotted (without drinking some invisibility potion). There might be a way in the "Control Panel" to adjust settings around and give your game more dedicated memory; but you may be right that it is not powerful enough for the game. On the tiny room in Vulkhel Guard though = that I can help with! Here is a shot of what I did with it, it looks gorgeous in there and is plenty roomy if set up similar to this: http://imgur.com/a/pSUm7

@mALX - thanks so much for that screenshot, that's a beautiful arrangement and gives me a great idea of what you can do with that room! I was frustrated because I like to use the furnished preview for an idea of what the room can look like at its best and the furnished option for that room just has a cheap bedroll and some candles... not particularly impressive, hmph!
And yeah, working with the Tribunal is FANTASTIC. It's great to see them at the height of their powers or close to it when in Morrowind you really saw them at their lowest point. Totally looking forward to meeting Almalexia, and the next expansion *rubs hands together*.
ETA: OH YEAH one frustrating thing about that quest - Tasrin-jo has gone light armour (because she's a mage), which means she doesn't get the sneak detection range bonus from medium armor. I'm starting to think I might have to train her up in that just for thieving because it's a serious advantage, and on this quest in particular not having it really shows. :/
@Acadian - well, I'll admit that I've wanted to start a Morrowind-inspired character for a while, especially after initial explorations of Stonefalls with Tasrin-jo made it clear there was no way she'd ever be comfortable there. This has mainly given me an excuse to explore a bit while Tasrin-jo ferments- er, waits.

Yes, if she plans to be sneaky she really needs the added bonuses of the Medium armor if possible; but also under Ledgerdomain there are two that will help her too: "Improved Hiding," and "Light Fingers." Although Misa has not ever been a pick-pocket, she took all levels of both of those; and all of the levels of sneak in the Medium armor line. she can normally sneak almost next to someone and not be noticed while wearing Medium armor now; but early on she needed potions to assist her. Detection and Invisibility potions using water as high as your character's level is for the best results and longest lasting; and take the Alchemy passive skill that makes potions last longer (because the Invisibility potion has a 45 second cooldown, so you have to find a hiding spot quickly between runs). If she is a Nightblade, use the Shadow Cloak to go invisible for a few seconds, it gives you time to pass tight situations. Test out these ingredients to see which gives you the best result with the least bad side effect: (because some combinations do have the same harmful effect as another; causing the potion to be damaging instead of helpful) (so read the effects carefully after combining them before committing yourself to drinking that in a dungeon, lol). Detection Potions: Corn Flower Torchbug Thorax White Cap Wormwood Invisibility Potion: Blue Entoloma Namira's Rot Nirnroot Spider Eggs And thank you so much for your congratulations above !!! I was tickled pink to pass that Trial = and Misa made it through without dying once, so that was pretty exciting! Oh, and I absolutely fell in love with Almalexia!!!! On a totally unrelated note: Since buying the Dye Station and the plans for the Target Dummy; I have been spending all my Vouchers on the random grab bag of housing plans the Master Writ Vendor sells = and become addicted to it, lol. It is like Christmas or my Birthday = getting an unknown present every time I get one of those darn things! It is soaking up all my vouchers and not leaving any for the Ebony armor, lol. Actually, have not gotten any I wanted yet, but ... still hoping for the big score, lol. This post has been edited by mALX: Mar 12 2017, 05:49 PM

QUOTE(Acadian @ Mar 12 2017, 01:18 PM) Uh oh, mALX. I hear that's how it starts. First they get you addicted with vouchers. Next thing you know, you're buying crown crates. After just buying me 1100 Crowns for my (last week of February) Birthday, when I mentioned to my son last week that I might be buying another 5500 Crowns (because I was already out of them) if the Banker and Merchant went on sale in March, Max looked at me suspiciously and asked if I had been buying Crown Crates, I wonder who he knows that has become addicted to opening them? It isn't me, but I will freely admit I would most def have a problem stopping them once I started, lol. (Which is why I can't let myself start). At least the grab bag of plans is earned through hard work in game; not actual hard work and real money in the Real World, This post has been edited by mALX: Mar 12 2017, 09:07 PM

@mALX - thank you thank you THANK YOU! I didn't even think of using potions, I have a real issue with using consumables. Those are some super handy tips, especially the ingredients that have each effect! With this, I think my plan is set to come back later when Tasrin-jo has the sneak skills in medium armour with a whole heap of potions and see if I can muddle through. And now I'm looking forward to meeting Almalexia even more. I have plans for Adryn: Tribunal (watch me get SUPER ahead of myself, yes) and a believable and positive Almalexia characterisation is something I've been wracking my brains over. I felt like a lot of people give her short shrift, and it makes sense because she's really not set up as a likeable character in Tribunal (lol UNDERSTATEMENT) but I still always wanted to do more with her... so I really want to see her at the height of her powers and see how she acts and comes off. ANYWAY. Good for you on knowing your weakness re: Crown Crates! I'm trying to hold off on buying crowns beyond the monthly subscription bonus myself. It's hard, because I want to buy all the appearance options all of them.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And yeah, Almalexia is not someone I'd want to make cross at me, that is sure. But she wasn't cross with me, thank goodness! I just plain loved her! And I think we will most def see a lot of Sotha Sil in the Clockwork City expansion/DLC when it comes out. And in the previews for "Morrowind" I did see Vivec hovering over his throne !!!! ** If you have any trouble concocting potions, let me know and I'll have Misa see what she can whip up, lol. Behold the true depths of my insanity: 1, 2I don't have a spreadsheet program and physical lists are more fun. I hurt my hand filling out the pre-One Tamriel sheet. I'm not planning on getting all motifs on all characters, but it'll be great keeping track of what I am trying to finish. Also, congrats on the trial clear, mALX! And good luck with your crafter Kaza. This post has been edited by monkeyemoness: Mar 14 2017, 01:52 AM
