Just watched AliensHo. Ly. [censored]. I didn't like the first film. I thought it was too long, too slow, and overly populated by idiots(not to mention a particularly obnoxious jumpscare cat). But Aliens is so much better. In every way.

Khajiit doesn't remember much about Alien. He remembers Jonesy and the Bilbo Baggins Synth going haywire, and of course the Xenomorph wreaking havoc on the crew. Then it gets sucked out an airlock. Pretty much all you need to know.

Never saw the first one. The Racoon thing threw Khajiit off. Is it an alien that looks exactly like a bipedal, sentient version of an earth racoon, a mutant, or what?

Gotcha. Khajiit was looking at a list of good horror films that "you may not have seen" yesterday and sure enough there was a few that sounded interesting that this one hasn't seen. Perhaps he will check out Guardians after he watches some of those.

Khajiit is watching a fun little show on the Flix of the Net called The 100. It's about the people of a space station (called "The Ark") that was built to protect a group of people from the ravages of a nuclear war down on earth. It's unclear when this space station was built and by whom (at least in the first season, of which Khajiit is about halfway through), but in any case, 97 years after they first inhabited the station it is discovered that the station is failing. They then round up 100 juvenile delinquents who were imprisoned for various crimes, load them in a dropship with little wrist monitors, and send them down to earth to see if it's survivable on the planet's surface. What ensues is a sort of descent into savagery that Khajiit found entertaining. Worth a watch, as long as you aren't expecting too much from it.

QUOTE(hazmick @ May 16 2017, 06:53 PM) I enjoy The 100. Thought the first season was a bit hit and miss, but once it gets into more stuff with the Grounders it gets pretty good.
Khajiit is looking forward to more interaction with the Grounders! This one would join Grounder Princess Anya's crew any day! Khajiit suspects she'd probably just have him killed though. Lol

I'm watching season 4 of Doctor Who.
Well, new Doctor Who, really.
Well, new NEW Doctor Who, since it's David Tenant.
The two-parter in The Library. Bloody good stuff. Genuinely creepifying(because yes, that's a word now), on so many levels. It's like a horror film with a pg rating. River Song annoys me, but apart from that, it's bloody brilliant.
