I fired up X-Wing again. After about six tries I managed to complete the Y-Wing mission I was stuck on the last time I tried playing. Then it was smooth sailing though three missions with X and A Wings. I really, really hate those damn Y-Wings...

Yeah. They are fairly yawn inducing

Oh... sorry... the title is Titanfall 2.

At least it's non-stick. I bet that is more aerodynamic...

Installed Morrowind last night, and made a test character. Now it's on to installing mods!

I also found out that someone went and translated the Skits removed from the NA version and put them on youtube. Gonna be watching them as I play, since it's only really half a Tales game without them. So far I discovered that Keele is a bigger douchebag than he appears in regular play. :V

Because of course there's plenty of foreshadowing alongside the extended characterization in the skits. I know Tales of Destiny's NA release didn't have the character skits either, but this is terrible. It's literally half the game's story!

Also slightly mad they didn't voice the skits in Tales of Symphonia Chronicles in spite of getting the original voice actors back. Meh, at least they made it into the game in that case.

Been playing Total War: Attila again recently. Finally tried out the Western Roman Empire - holy moly that's a tough start. A huge amount of land + very few troops + very few allies + no food.

I didn't even consider trying to hold most of it, and retreated from all provinces except Italia, Magna Graecia, Venetia, Liguria and Britannia Superior with a scorched earth policy that gave me a pretty good buffer against the barbarian hordes keen on sacking Rome. I then broke off ties with the Eastern Roman Empire, since that alliance wasn't beneficial.

The lands I abandoned around Carthage and the Sahara were quickly claimed by the Garamantians, while Britannia Inferior was claimed by the Ebdanians, who were quick to form an alliance with me against the Picts that were pressing from the north. The rest of my land is slowly being claimed by various factions, with Gaul rising as the main power.

I had a brief scare when two hordes of Ostrogoths arrived on my doorstep, but they were convinced to move on after several impressive displays of Roman defense. The Visigoths also payed us a visit, and were swiftly destroyed by my first and third legions. Currently the only faction that refuses peace is the Geats to the far north, but they're not much of a threat at the moment.

My current plan is either to push north and form a corridor to Britannia, or to reclaim Carthage to the south and take the African coast. The Britannia plan is risky but rewarding, while the Africa plan is easier but may lead to strained relations with the Eastern Romans who also want that area. I also need to send some agents out into the world and see what's going on elsewhere, and to see where the Huns are hiding.

This sounds awesome! Is it real time or turn based?

Turn based city/province/empire management, real time battles. Total War games are awesome.

As I said in another thread, I'm playing Manhunt for the first time. I believe the game is known to most, it's a 3rd person (or 1st person whichever way you prefer) stealth-based survival horror video game.

I'm impressed by the AI in this game, your enemies a.k.a. hunters are clever and their routines hard to predict, making the game very unrepetititve. Even if your main character "dies" because hunters found him, they might take a different patroling routine the next time so you can't automatically know what's going to happen.

The game is violent and was banned in several countries when it was released back in 2003 but I find gore in Fallout series more vivid than in Manhunt.

It's midnight and I started playing Princess Maker 2 for no reason whatsoever.

I'm stuck giving my future magical child soldier a name. Was thinking of calling her Ronch.

That... actually sounds really interesting! Khajiit would totally make a Boudicca inspired character!

Almost at the end of Turok 2. It's been an up and down ride. The level design and map can be infuriating when you have to go back to get stuff you missed or that you couldn't get before (looking at you in particular, Primagen keys). But there are some fun moments in the gunplay and a nice variety of enemies and guns. Just got to get two more Talismans and 3 or 4 Primagen keys and then I can fight the final boss. I wouldn't say it is a bad game, but I'd rather get it over with sooner rather than later.

Also playing ESO of course, and a little bit of Rocket League.

After I finish Turok 2, I think I'll start Mirror's Edge or Divinity II next. Maybe Mirror's Edge since I hear it is pretty short. But I also would really like to start Divinity II soon after enjoying Divine Divinity so much.

Mirror's Edge is a unique type of game, its more of a First Person Platformer then a typical FPS.

I hear a full warrior daughter is pretty tricky. So far mine's like...16 years old? and is a master chef but she's trailing behind in magical combat. Fortune Teller says she'll end up either a housewife or a fortune teller herself. Apparently neither are ideal and are considered the worst neutral and magical endings, respectively. Time to invest in her magical and military education and get her out there for adventurin'! and finally beat that Magical Girl rival for more Mage reputation

SHE DID IT The first fight against her rival was the hardest (and only won cause her rival had slightly less HP than her at the end of 9 turns) but the rest of the warriors fell to her mighty magic. >:V
