I thought I'd fire up Star Trek Online for PS4. Nice hearing Lenard Nemoy's voice being immortalized in it.

Holy [censored] [censored] I am really starting to hate Turok 2. Backtracking to find the last few things I need before I can confront the final boss is infuriating. The level design makes it confusing to go back through, and coupled with a map system worse than Daggerfall's it is really testing my desire to finish the game. I had to stop playing for now because it is just too frustrating. I really don't understand the praise it is getting on GOG and Steam, beyond the actual remastering part (the game does actually look fantastic and run smoothly).

On the other hand, after putting Turok 2 down for the night I started up Mirror's Edge. Only 39 minutes in, but what I have played so far is really fun.

My Princess Maker 2 daughter grew up to become the Court Sorceress! One of the better two Mage endings, apparently. I guess it's a good thing she started hunting down criminals and taking names in earnest after her miraculous win in the Harvest Festival Tournament. Though maybe she shouldn't have mugged those guards out on patrol...

Also she married a knight? idk, but her patron deity was happy and I was happy and she stayed on earth instead of being taken back to heaven and the end idk what I'm playing next.

Yeah, Khajiit remembers Turok 2 being a bit tedious in the N64 days. The "Beware Oblivion..." cheat code was kind of fun for a little while though.

It's ridiculous. Very disappointing coming from the great original Turok. When I backtracked through the first game, I just went "Duh!" every time I figured out a place I missed and remembered that I was going to try to go back there. Not asking for a linear game, just not something so infuriating. Needless to say, this is going to be my only playthrough of the game when I finish it up.

But hey, Mirror's Edge has shaped up to be really good so far. A little hard to get the timing of some controls down but it is a neat concept. Glad I finally got to try this game out.

I guess I'm playing Oblivion again but idk for how long. I'm playing a Reachman murder-hobo who is uncomfortable in cities. idk I also installed Integration: The Stranded Light again to see how deep the rabbit hole really goes.

I think I am on the last chapter of Mirror's Edge, or at least somewhere near the very end. Great game, but far too short. At least it looks like it has some replay value and other stuff to do, though.

Turns out I was only 10 minutes away from beating Mirror's Edge last night, lol. Completed it a little bit ago, just under 5 hours total. I wish the story wasn't so short, but I liked it though.

Yep! N64 was the shiz! Khajiit had this thing called a Gameshark that basically let you mod games. It was neat because you could input codes that could change aspects of the game. For instance: in Goldeneye, one of Khajiit's favorite things to do was to change weapon characteristics more to his liking. Sadly, for a lot of games it was simply a cheat device (God mode, unlimited ammo, unlock everything, etc.).

I've got back in to playing Overwatch recently. Having a blast, trying out characters that I might not have payed much attention to in the past. Fun!

It's over. I finally beat Turok 2. What a slog to get those last few items. I may have been a bit harsh before, but I still take issue with the things I brought up, namely level design and the map. Oh well. It's done now.

I really am not sure what to start next. Probably should get on System Shock or F.E.A.R. since I already have those downloaded, but I also really want to start Divinity II.

Thought I'd buy Arkham Knight off of PSN, I love that series. I also need to get the Arkham Asylum and City game too.

I have started my first playthrough of F.E.A.R. About an hour and a half or so into it, and it's pretty good so far. Good atmosphere. It isn't scary, but there is a sense of uneasiness.

Also, after trying to mess around with key configurations for a bit and just giving up on that, I started up Clive Barker's Undying. It was an interesting looking game powered by the original Unreal engine, but GOG is literally the only place I had actually heard of it. Although for some reason it is not obvious what key heals you and you annoyingly have to hit Fn and F3 to access my journal, I am going to continue with it later on. Might play through F.E.A.R. first.

I adore the Arkham series. I found Knight to be a bit disappointing, but it was a great game. City, on the other hand, is one of my top 5 games of all-time.

I loved Undying. I played that back when it was new.

According to the manual, health packs are stored in your inventory. The F and V keys cycle through it, and the [] keys. Enter or Q uses whatever is selected in the inventory.

Been watching the missus play The Oder: 1886. Anyone play that when it came out? It came pre-loaded on my PS4, but I never really gave it a shot.

That was kind of a Steampunk game if Khajiit remembers correctly? Something about using "advanced Victorian technology" to stop a degenerate form of humans from taking over everything, or something?

I didn't have a PS4 when it first came out, and never got around to buying now that I do have the console. I've heard mixed reviews about the story, but from what I've seen the game looked fun enough. Steampunk vs monsters is a great concept.

BritishKitty, yep. Advanced guns designed by Tesla and such.

Hazard, I didn't see much of the story, but it did indeed look fun. Half breeds, i think they called the beasts.
