Today Feng got some new armor and freed Haven from a band of pirates in league with the Necromancers.

Yeah, a Khajiit modeled after the fashion of a lion is very cool. Of course, one that takes his lines and colors from a tiger is equally as neat. If I played boy kitties it would be a hard call. smile.gif

Khajiit is a big fan of Feng's snow leopard spots.

Cincinnatus retrieved the last shard of Wuuthrad last night. He found it at Fullhelm Fort, and had to save Thane Uunvald in the process. Unfortunately it was impossible to both do that and hunt down his Thane-turned-Worm-Cult-Member Thorulf, but Cincinnatus is confident that he did the right thing. The shards of Wuuthrad are now all his.

Next up: Sinmur the giant is 'boudda to face his reckoning. Hopefully tonight, otherwise tomorrow.

Heh, Mira did it the other way. She chased down the Worm Cult guy and ignored the fragments of Wuuthrad.

Cincinnatus didn't care so much about the Thane, but he didn't want him to kill himself either. It was more to get the fragment but he also felt a bit bad for Hallfrida, the Thane's granddaughter.

So if I had gone after Thorulf I wouldn't get the shard then?

Not sure. That quest was kind of fuzzy. One thing Mira's Pact adventure taught Khajiit is that he needs to pay attention to the prerequisites and side objectives. He completely missed getting the color achievement for Shadowfen because Mira failed to tell a priestess that she had killed a Dominion agent when running around those ruins during he Mnemic Egg quests.

When I did this quest, I had no idea that to do one would cost you the other! I lost out on the fragments, something I really was looking forward to doing! (by doing what sounded to be the urgent problem at the time first. When I finished the urgent tasks, the fragments had disappeared from my journal and from any world markings. Really ticked me off that I lost it!!!)

Thanks mALX! It's really two different looks though. Lord Gharesh-ri has a more wild, savage look, whereas Feng is meant to look more regal like a Chinese Emperor. Both end up looking very noble though. Khajiit hopes Feng will run into Gharesh-ri again. Awesome guy!

Mira told Khajiit to tell you that she really didn't care about Wuuthrad; it was the Worm Cult that posed the threat so her only thought was to take out its agent. That was her practical Imperial side taking charge, lol

Same thing with Misa except it was her Nord side charging in to stop those worm cultists. But being a Nord = those fragments were a really important part of her heritage. I don't understand why they made that one a choice, there was no reason those quests should be tied to each other as an either/or that way. I wrote a hateful /bug report on it when it happened, was steaming over it, lol.

Well Khajiit is guessing that their thought was that the Nords would hold more of a cultural importance on collecting the fragments and other races would want to stop the Thane/Cultist ASAP. Honestly though, when Mira was doing that quest, Khajiit's thought was "stop the cultist, go back and collect the fragments so maybe we'll get a bad ass axe!". Obviously that's not the way that played out. Feathered-Snake will be doing his Pact quests soon and honestly I don't see him caring about Wuuthrad either.

When Hates did the quest she chased down the Housecarl because there was no way she'd let him get away without several stab wounds. Who cares if an unpopular Jarl immolates himself, she was going to gut a pig. :V

Good thing is, though, you don't actually miss out on anything aside from getting sweet, sweet vengeance or saving someone I guess. You get the shard of Wuuthrad regardless, since IIRC it was left behind at the estate (though I can't remember if that was made clear or not). Better to have two people dead than none.
Unfortunately, that "kill everything urgently to get to the baby killer" thing didn't work out so well in Shadowfen. She's since gotten better about this, probably because of that.

Anyways, I still maintain that Khajiit in this game are probably the best-looking ones so far.

Oh they are down right sexy! Skyrim' are a close second, and Morrowind's (yes Morrowind's) are probably a distant third in this one's book. Oblivion's are just fugly.

To be fair, Oblivion was pretty bad across all races except...Imperials? Bretons and Redguards looked okay, I guess. Everyone else was baaaad. (Okay, Argonians looked pretty neat imo) But yeah, I liked the concept of Khajiit when I played Oblivion but it wasn't until Skyrim that I actually played as one.

Anyways, content.

Uh....

Oh! Turns out I overlooked a very important detail on the Squad. Hates is doing more damage than she's ever done but GEEZE is resource management terrible. I was right about Fjotreid's troubles being more because of the new changes. I had Hates do the public dungeons on Vvardenfell and found that even after using up all the CP, she still needs to stop and rest for her stamina to recover before taking on another mob. And it recovers slowly :U Next I'll have to try with a drink instead of food and see how she does.

Then again, playing a totally new character might motivate me to actually work on my characters' builds again. I'm saving a War Maiden set for when Fjotreid reaches level 50 and might get one for Jo, too. Hates might get the medium set, but tbh I'm really attached to Briarheart. I'll try it out when I get a full set.

Honestly Khajiit thought all of the characters in Oblivion looked pretty bad, regardless of race. Orcs seemed to be the worst to this one, with Argos looking the best. There has always been a Cheshire Khajiit in some form or another, however, Feng being the most recent incarnation. He just focuses on stamina instead of magicka, because of the way ESO puts so much emphasis on how much stamina affects the damage of your pointy objects.

Because just about everybody in vanilla Oblivion looks like a potato. Even my precious Marsh-folk. I tried to do what I could with my Champion of Cyrodiil, but even he looks doofy.

Anyways, Cincinnatus gave Sinmur a walloping last night. Unfortunately that was all he had time for, but the next order of business is to travel with Sai Sahan to the Valley of Blades. Looks like Pact business is finished up for now.

I like how my Akaviri Dragonguard set looks (it's what I wore at our guild meeting last month), but I'm leveling too far past it now so I'm starting to replace that set. Shame. Oh well. Hopefully I like the entire next set as well, which looks like it'll be the Draugr's Heritage set.

Congrats to Cinnci for completing his Pact tour of duty. Mira also finished Pact stuff first and then finished the MQ.

Feng wants access to the Akaviri style gear really badly! In combination with his own Khajiit style or maybe Orc style, it would be perfect for him (he has an ancient Chinese theme about him and while a full set of Akaviri gear looks like Samurai armor, this one believes that if certain pieces of it were replaced with Khajiit style pieces then it would have the desired Chinese-ish look.).

Anyways, I still maintain that Khajiit in this game are probably the best-looking ones so far.

Oh they are down right sexy! Skyrim' are a close second, and Morrowind's (yes Morrowind's) are probably a distant third in this one's book. Oblivion's are just fugly.
