Chorrol blue with a tree motif gets my vote. Take a look on the Architecture picture, top row, third in from the left. That’s a Graht-oak.



Edit: Middle row, far right on the Misc page is also a tree.

Thanks for all this research, mALX. I agree with Grits - blue with a grahtoak would look great and be consistent with our Chorrol roots here as well.

Yeah, with us being in the Pact, Khajiit is not sure the Graht Oak would fit. Then again, an oaks an oak. Khajiit's vote is Blue with the Yggdrasil looking tree on the miscellaneous page (not the dead one).

Yeah, no dead trees as our Crest, lol.


I did notice the one that looks like a Bonsai tree and liked it too. It does look a little like the Chorrol tree insignia, all except for the hole in the base of it. But if it is a Grahtwood tree, then Khajiit might have a point about it being a conflict with our Alliance affiliation. (unfortunately, it won't confuse Aldmeri PvP'ers into thinking we are one of them, lol).

But I'm open to what everyone else wants.

If we wanted something more alliance neutral, I really like the horse head in the top row of the animal logos.

No, Khajiit really likes that horse head!

I also vote for a white tree on chorrol blue. We're only Pact because nobody suggested otherwise, the guild itself is as fond of the other two alliances - Chorrol will always be Chorrol. The tree on the middle row of the 'Misc' page is nice.

Ok so Khajiit thinks our color choice is pretty much unanimous: white on a blue field (perhaps a shade above navy blue?), just like the good ol' Chorrol Guards! Now the sigil choice seems to be between the Ghrat Oak and the Yggdrasil tree on the miscellaneous tab. As Hazmick pointed out, it is perhaps not as big a deal that the Ghrat isn't from our guild's chosen alliance. On the other hand, the Yggdrasil tree is nice and it doesn't, in Khajiit's opinion, evoke any presumptions about faction alignment (at least not where Tamriel is concerned, but Khajiit definitely thinks Norse mythology when he sees it).

In any case, this is all moot if we can't find one more member...

I saw several Guilds making up their Tabards per the highest number of agreeing members (that came to a tie vote) = what they did to help resolve it was:

They made up the first Tabard, but didn't save the results = took a screenshot of it. Then they changed the Tabard to the second favorite vote, made it up (but again, without saving the results) = took another screenshot.

They posted all the screenshots of the contenders so everyone could see the Tabards all made up and on a character in front of them - had the Guild members vote on which they liked best from those screenshots.

(then the winning Tabard was recreated and this time = saved).

True, we certainly are not Alliance driven. I know I voted for Ebonheart Pact because my EP character spends a lot of time in Cyrodiil and wanted to be able to represent. You can only claim resources for your Guild if your Guild's Alliance affiliation matches your character's Alliance.

Also = if your Alliance doesn't match your Guild's Alliance in Cyrodiil then your Tabard turns plain white and is removed from you when you return to the other parts of Tamriel (so in other words, you can't represent in Cyrodiil).

I was tickled pink that we chose Chorrol to be Ebonheart because I am a member of five Guilds and none of the others were EP. Every time I took a resource it would have been nice to claim it, but I couldn't - had to leave it for someone else to come along and claim it.

(so = really happy we are EP!)

I put recipes and some other stuff in the guild bank for whoever needs them. The gold is for Hazmick to pay for the Tabards to be made, but anything left over can be used by anyone who doesn't have enough to buy a Tabard. I would love to have a screenshot of all of us in our Tabards together at our Guild Hall !!!

Just got back from a spontaneous public dungeon crawl with Britta (mALX), Jerric (Grits) and Mira (Khajiit). Britta did a superb job as tank and I think Buffy did well as healer, as did Jerric and Mira as dps. A very fun dungeon crawl. Sorry that Mira had to leave us early. Great fun though and thanks, all!

What really sucks is that she still has the quest to collect those 12 artifacts. Now we'll have to hope some folks are around that can run interference for us while we collect them. Otherwise we'll have to abandon it.

Khajiit, Buffy would be happy to run that dungeon again so Mira can get the quests and stuff completed. In fact, Buffy's never happier than when 'overwatching' another player to help them get through a quest or dungeon. Just a matter of getting us together at the same time.
