QUOTE(Acadian @ Jul 17 2017, 08:56 AM) Though I don't have strong feelings about the border, I'm delighted that we'll be using the 'Fang' style, as Buffy and most of the other ladies seem to find it more shapely. Hazmick, since you so kindly bear the mantle of leadership for our guild and consistently make sound, fair and reasoned decisions after listening to the guild, I readily support the decisions you make. Thanks again for being our guildmaster. Ditto !!! QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Jul 16 2017, 09:11 PM) QUOTE(mALX @ Jul 16 2017, 08:05 PM) QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Jul 16 2017, 08:35 PM) QUOTE(mALX @ Jul 16 2017, 07:30 PM)
You have to sell about 2000 per week. I normally sell that in the first hour after filling my shelves at the longest. I normally bring in about 100,000 per week selling nothing but alchemy ingredients and uncooked food stuff.
I'll be tied up for the next three hours or so; but I'll get on there tonight and send you an invite; no problem at all.
(And that Guild has a Teamspeak, so if you are dungeon crawling with any members it is easy to plan the next Boss fight!)
Hmmm, where is the guild trader located? A'Likr Desert/Sentinel. (I have two Trade Guilds in Craglorn, but they have no room for new members and a much higher minimum rate per week. I also am a member of that guild I might quit to join a Cyrodiil PvP Guild = their Guild trader is in Khenarthi's Roost. They have no minimum sales, and have plenty of room for new members = you won't ever be kicked out of there, but they also don't sell very well, so it is a toss up as to their value). Khajiit really appreciates the offer but he isn't sure he has anything anybody wants at the moment (certainly not 2000 gold worth), so hold off for now with the invite (unless you've done it already, of course). No problem! Just let me know if you ever want a trade guild. And if you prefer a slower Guild, that one in Khenarthi's Roost has no minimum; no pressure.

QUOTE(Grits @ Jul 17 2017, 01:21 PM) That outfit is proof of why you needed the white border. The green and blue right next to each would have looked ugly. With the separating border, it works! P.S. once it's totally final, I'll have to make one for Smurfette. Those are her colours! This post has been edited by ghastley: Jul 17 2017, 06:42 PM

QUOTE(Acadian @ Jul 17 2017, 01:45 PM) Ghastley, looks like you'll just have to bring Smurfette to ESO!
Can I create a four-foot tall person with blue skin (and a smurfy hat) in ESO? I'm already unhappy that Skyrim gives her too many fingers!

There are hats - and the selection changes - but no smurfy ones presently. Five fingers only. Blue skin on a Dunmer. Tiny height on a Bosmer. Each race has a moderately small height range based on their race. For example the shortest Altmer you can make is still way taller than the tallest Bosmer you can make. That's the bad news. The good news is that skin textures and customization of facial features/body mass proportions is quite good.

As a total novice to guild banks, I learned something today. If I put in a stack of 3 Nord motif books, somebody else puts in a single Nord motif book, and yet somebody else puts in a stack of, say, 4 Nord motif books, all of that takes up 3 bank slots - no autostacking! That looked odd to me so I looked for a 'stack' command for the bank and there is none. So I took all the various size stacks of motif books, food and crafting recipes that were the same but in different slots and put them in Buffy's inventory. Then we used the 'stack' command for our inventory. Then put the much fewer but larger stacks back in our guild bank. The happy result was that our guild bank went from 117/500 slots in use to 95/500 slots in use.
Lesson for me is, when adding stackable items and there are already items of the same kind in there, take out like all items, consolidate (stack) all in Buffy's inventory, then return all in one tidy stack to the guild bank.

Thanks for the tip Acadian! That seems like a silly oversight by ZOS but it's good to know there is a way around it!

That is a known flaw, there is a name for what you have to do (pulling them all out; stacking them; then putting them all back in to consolidate them) - something like "Twiddling the Guild Bank" or something. I don't think that is the name, but I've been asked to do it before for SneakyBo - just can't remember what they called it. The only concern about that is: Make sure BEFORE pulling out any Materials or Fishing Supplies that you LOCK YOUR CRAFT BAG! (Go to "Settings," "Gameplay," "Auto-add to Craft Bag" = turn it off. Otherwise it will add all the Guild bank mats and fishing supplies in with your own in your Craft Bag). If you forget this step and take all the materials by accident, you can always find out exactly what you withdrew by going to "Guilds," "History," "Bank," "Withdrawal;" find out exactly the amount of and each item you withdrew, (and pull just that amount from your Craft Bag to deposit back into the bank). (Of course, we don't have to worry about this for our Guild Bank because it is being used for "Open Exchange") Something else about Guild Banks that I learned through working for SneakyBo = With most Guild banks you can split a stack you are depositing, but not split it as you are withdrawing it from the Guild Bank. So if you want one of a recipe and there are 4 in the bank; pull all 4 out, then switch to "Deposit" and use "Split Stack" to put just 3 back. I don't know why Guild banks don't let you split stack on a withdrawal; but it is another quirk more than one of them have. They have add-ons that help you work with your Guild bank, but some of them tend to drag down your gameplay by overtaking your chat box with a glut of useless obsessive data/info that not even the Guildmaster needs to have streamed throughout the game. You are better off without them and just learning to work with/around the Guild bank flaws. This post has been edited by mALX: Jul 19 2017, 06:41 AM

Man you are ripping through those! I've bought a bunch of them, and Grits has donated a lot too. But that one I got as a Writ reward for 251 vouchers = that was a whole table in one Master Writ! Wish I could get a bunch of those, lol. This post has been edited by mALX: Jul 20 2017, 04:40 PM
