The Dark Temmie sounds like the product of a cross between Pokemon(some of those Pokedex entries are plain freaky) and the Star Trek mirror universe rollinglaugh.gif

I can't for the life of me see the gaming deals thread here so I'll just post it here: the original Fallout is free on Steam today in celebration of its 20th anniversary. I just came across the news, and while I'm not a fan of turn-based combat I figured I'd grab it anyways because it's, you know, free.

But it is only free until midnight, so if you want it you should pounce on it quickly.

Fallout 1 is a cool game. A while back I bought a bundle with FO1, 2, and Tactics on one dvd. It doesn't look the best on a modern machine with a 1920 x 1080 monitor though. I am pretty sure it only gets up to 640 x 480. There is a high resolution patch to run it in 1920 x 1080. If you use the patch, make sure you use its config.exe file to set the Scaling to x2. Otherwise everything is really tiny.

Eh, Khajiit will just stick with the more modern Fallout games. Not a huge fan of the whole isometric thing.

If Khajiit had a pet spider, he'd name it after Mephala.

I've got no real problem with spiders, but I've never understood how people can keep them as pets

When Khajiit was a young cub, he had a friend who had a tarantula. It didn't spin a pretty web that this one can remember (not even really sure if they can), but it was otherwise awesome. It was very tickly when it would crawl on your arm!

We have a dedicated Fallout section so this news could fit well there. However, this is the Everything thread so it belongs here too biggrin.gif

Hey 'rocu, y'all don't have snakes to surprise you in your work shed, hunh?

Only one kind that is poisonous, and I reckon it's getting too cold for them to be very active now..

Khajiit is somewhat surprised by this news.

How's come?

This one guesses because when he thinks of Scandinavia, he thinks it would be too cold for snakes. Guess it does probably get warm enough in the summer though.

It does. Rarely see one though and when I do it's mostly the non-poisonous kind.

Ooh, it appears you folks get the Common European Adder. If Khajiit saw one of those, he'd teach it a division lesson! laugh.gif

Hmm.

On the one hand, I should probably be writing some more of Gideon's Journal. On the other, I'm having way too much fun with TES: Legends now that I have a solid deck.

Hmm...

Edit: Back to reading Buffy the Bowgirl biggrin.gif
