I don't know, but all you need to do is look at the fall calendar and find which Friday will be Friday the 13th.

I remember one year they had some secret quests that some members got and others didn't = I didn't, but several of my friends did. It was a very fun quest that turned them different colors at the end of it that only they could see. When I looked at them, they looked normal. I didn't get the quest, and it turned out it was something done by the authors of certain add-ons that I didn't have.

Khajiit doesn't use any add-ons so he is not going to get those special quests either. Oh well, this one is sure the extra stuff that ZOS puts out will provide plenty to keep Mira and crew occupied!

I hope it is as fun as that Add-on one was; or at least as fun as last year's Witches Festival, that was a blast!

Khajiit is really hoping for another easy to get motif like during the New Life (in all, Khajiit thinks the Skinchanger gear is pretty good looking, minus the weird medium armor helm). This one missed the Witches Festival last year but believes the Hollowjack motif was being given away as prizes? Is that correct?

Hollowjack motifs dropped like candy, yeah. I actually vendored the last few I had from last year a few months back whoops lol

I'm not as excited for this year's event, even with new stuff, but hey, someone else might be.

Yes. During the Festival, you could get chapters for the Hollowjack motif, special food recipes and bits of amber (used for crafting Hollowjack).

Ok, thanks folks. Khajiit is not an overly big fan of the styles with glowy bits, but this one may be able to find a use for it. Though it would be nice if they gave us an all new motif to collect. The folks who had Hollowjack running out their ears last year probably don't want to see it again, lol

I think there will be interest in Hollowjack. One can only get the crafting mats and motifs for it once a year. Same with the unique recipes. New players as well as old players with new chars will be looking for it I should think. While I do agree that the Hollowjack armors are not attractive, the staves are quite distinctive in kind of a neat, wicked way.

I admit it was pretty funny to see a dozen almost identical robed skeletons taking on dolmens last year.

SPEW!!! Take away the scales and tails and that is any one of my characters at the New Life, lol. On the Witches Festival I brought out all my characters that needed to benefit from the XP boost and ran them around doing stuff. And almost all of my characters learned the Hollowjack; boy do I wish I'd held onto some of them to sell! They were going for nothing back then, I was giving them away! Now they are actually worth something again.






Or the giant blue mud crab, lol. I've still got screens of the skeleton crew attacking it - somewhere, lol.

Looking at images of the swords, Khajiit does agree. They do look pretty good.

I have always loved a curved sword, they look wicked to me. I used Redguard up to the level that they did away with the curved blade; then went to a friend and had Soul Shriven made until I got the Hollowjack and could make them myself. Now I can make my own Soul Shriven, so have gone back to them; but still love seeing the Hollowjack swords the few times I have seen them out in the game.

Unfortunately I have to do a thing tomorrow, and may miss part of or all of the meeting. If I don't show up, I hope everyone has a great time

The Redguard sword stops curving?

Yes, and it really made me mad how they change because they were my absolute favorite sword up to about level 24, then suddenly ... urgh.

Ooh!! We can be like the Horsemen of the Apocalypse! Riding across Tamriel, laying down our judgement upon the myriad nasty creatures inhabiting the land! Oh it would be glorious!

Well that's a bummer. There's always the Abah's Watch and Ra Gada swords though! They have nice curves!

I'll have to check those out!I can actually make the Ragada Swords, (if I'm not mistaken) - but will probably have to learn the Abah's Watch style.

Mira can make you a sample of the Abah's. It won't be your level but you'll know if you want to pursue it.
