Well Mira did well today! I had never done that dungeon before; so had no clue what we were facing; only knew it was hard from what I'd heard on TeamSpeak. I was really surprised we actually made it through! Yeah, Khajiit thoroughly enjoyed it! With a decent team, this one is thinking Falkreath is probably not that tough (the hardest part was just a simple matter of finding out what to do). We had a good team today (even though Mira was handicapped by not being able to use pierce armor). Big props to the healer who kept us in fighting shape when things got chaotic.

Oh yeah, that fight would have been 100 times worse if the boss had gone feral; which they will do if more than one person taunts them. I appreciate Mira backing off and letting Britta tank that dungeon; because Britta doesn't have near the DPS that Mira does and would have been useless if not tanking. It is about the only thing Britta is good for; and she still died several times when I couldn't get to my healing bar in time.

Thank you, mALX! * * * Another nice get together at our guild hall this evening. Jerric and his harem of Buffy, Sidra, Britta, Brenna (and later Mira instead) were there. We had a nice time just chatting, sipping wine and dancing to some nice lute music. Sidra, Jerric and Mira had to leave bit early. Britta and her pocket healer (Buffy) went out, found two more adventurous souls of the dps persuasion and did a group dungeon! Dear Britta wanted to make sure that Buffy got one of those gift boxes during the current group dungeon event. All four characters did their respective jobs well and I’m pleased to report the dungeon crawl a success! As ever, so nice to get together with friends.

Khajiit has severely limited Mira’s combat abilities because this one intended for her to be a straight up warrior and craftsperson. The special class abilities are powerful but Khajiit thinks they feel too magical in nature (even the ones that are stam morphed; toxic breath, giant dragon claws? Definitely not Mira’s style.), so her offense comes entirely from the one hand and shield skill abilities (namely pierce armor, low slash, shield bash, and shield charge). This does not make for an optimal fighter in this game, but she can solo most content well enough. Though she really needs a team behind her when taking on dungeons and big bosses, Mira is a soldier and doesn’t mind relying on help from her comrades in arms to tackle these objectives.

QUOTE(monkeyemoness @ Dec 1 2017, 10:07 PM) OH MY GOD I FORGOT ABOUT THE GUILD MEETING I'M SO SORRY
Well that’s ok, we’ll catch you next time! We really should try to get together some time during the New Life Festival. Maybe run the holiday dailies as a guild then head back to the guild hall and open our goody boxes. Just a thought, but I know it’s hard getting everyone on at the same time. QUOTE(King Coin @ Dec 2 2017, 09:46 AM) I had company over last night, else I would have definitely joined you all. And I am going to miss the next one because I'll be in Florida. ALSO. What craft skill did everyone take? I've been leveling up Aravi's light armor crafting and alchemy skills. I would really like to drop one of those. Misa and the 4 "Bank/Crafting Mules" do all 6 crafting disciplines at Master level; (actually one of them is still bringing up the Alchemy) = but Misa is the only real crafter as far as learning all the styles and traits (including Nirnhoned). The 4 "Bank/Crafting Mules" just do the Writs daily for the income, Master Writs, and materials (not to mention for the "bank storage" their inventories provide). Any Master Writs they get are handed over to Misa for her to do the actual work. The two Dragon Knights don't do any crafting at because their skill points are too preciously needed for their builds (and spread out way too far already in skills needed for Tanking). (so they escaped the sweat shop by being skilled warriors, ) This post has been edited by mALX: Dec 2 2017, 04:24 PM

So I could possibly trade Misa for armor and weapons? I'm going to keep Aravi's alchemy skills because I like making poisons.

As long as I have the materials needed, no trade needed (just ask and you shall receive!) If I don't have the materials, I might need you to provide them. (example: for early level characters, the materials are harder to get for a high level character). The only exception to that rule: If you want Nirnhoned trait or a Prismatic enchantment; you do have to provide the Nirncrux or Hakeijo rune. We shared Aravi memories from when she used to travel with Vilja = remember the wine glass incident? Or Aravi's signature head shake? She was a major part of the Meet, even if she didn't make it last night!

Khajiit thinks that it is a tradition in gaming to make the second to last boss harder than the last, lol. This one can think of a few instances where this was true (please note that the following list is based on Khajiit’s personal experience. Experiences may differ) Mortal Kombat- Goro was way harder than Shang Tsung. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time- Khajiit had a harder time with Ganondorf in his wizard form than his last one. Super Castlevania IV- Death (grim reaper) was harder than Dracula. Just a few examples.
