That sounds delicious. I could really go for a bagel - cinnamon raisin, soaked in butter!

Can confirm, that is one of the best beers evah. I fill up a growler whenever I see it on tap.

Indeed! Nothing like getting a jug of beer from the tap, and enjoying it over the weekend.

Oooh, that would be really good with a couple fingers of single malt Scotch!

Not much to speak of on the eating front for me. Pretty much same old same old. Oatmeal centric breakfasts. Soup/chili lunches, alternating with an occasional Wowbutter sammich. Salad suppers. Haven't has a splurge meal since Xmas Day lunch with my brother. Was unpleasantly surprised when I weighed myself this Monday to see that I have NOT lost any of the 4/5lb gained from that holiday repast. If anything, I might be a pound heavier, but weighed myself too soon after eating to know for sure. Only thing I can figure is that it has to do with being too cold to exercise-walk and my switch to oatmeal breakfasts, which are more caloric than what I ate before. Sure hope I don't need to abandon oatmeal, as those breakfasts are my tastiest meal of the day. (Which says much about how boring my other meals are. tongue.gif )

Used Wishbone Chipotle Ranch dressing on last night's salad-supper. Was a nice, welcome change of pace.

Today Khajiit bought a case of the Coca Cola that is supposedly bottled in Mexico. They use actual sugar in these instead of high fructose corn syrup, which this one finds more to his liking.

Ooh, I might like to try that myself! Why can't they bottle that formula here in the US?

From what Khajiit heard (and this may not actually be true), it’s cheaper to use real sugar in Mexico and so don’t need to use high fructose corn syrup. Guess they can grow more sugar cane down there than we can here. Pepsi was actually producing American made pure cane sugar versions of their drinks for a bit (the Mountain Dew was incredible!), but Khajiit hasn’t seen any in a couple of years. Also there are some “craft soda” brands that use pure cane sugar.
