Try telling that to the folks over at Bethesda.net TES series page. Just about everyone there keeps rooting for High Rock and I keep telling them we've already been there but that seems to go through one ear and out the other. Now I know why I stayed on the Community Discussion thread a lot.

I'm betting its either going to be Hammerfell or Summerset Isles. Both areas are hotbeds now and a game set there is quite possible.

I stopped going there ages ago. The community is sheer virulence.

All I know is wither its Hammerfell or Summerset they better have a battle music to rival One They Fear. Ahhh---the song still gives me goose bumps .

*edit* yep according to UESP Daggerfall takes place in Hammerfell as well as High Rock.

The northern part of Hammerfell was. The Elder Scrolls Redguard took place in Hammerfell but that was a spin off game and not part of the main series. I don't know if that disqualifies it but I don't see any reason to still not implement Hammerfell in the main series but if Bethesda did do that then Summerset Isle or Akavir would most likely be the next game.

Khajiit wouldn’t say any province is off limits except Morrowind, Cyrodiil, and Skyrim. To be fair, Arena had all of the provinces so technically we have been everywhere already, lol

This one wonders what the story would be with Akavir though. Is the Dominion trying to get them to invade? The Doninion is the looming threat right now so wherever we go would have to involve them in some way. Unless of course they jump forward in the time period and deal with them off screen (which would be a waste, imo).

I think Akavir is going to be the next game. Just like Bethesda use IV for Oblivion and Akavir has always been hinted at or rumored in game and there's a VI in the name...I'm almost going to say 100% sure we're going to Akavir and confront the Thalmor . If not I'm going to have to eat a can of dog food as I betted on it . Don't let me down Bethesda {prays}.

I dunno man, you guys are thinking it’s going to be after the events of Skyrim but I’m just here having a suspicion that it’ll actually happen somewhere between IV and V. It’s going to be a first in the series, admittedly, but I won’t be surprised if they actually went ahead and did, those madmen.

Also, The Todd has stated in an interview before that main title games always go forward in the timeline, never back. Though he might have been talking solely about Fallout.
