Normally if you have the stones, someone will make you the research item you need for free; so (to me) it all just depends on how much difference in price there is between buying just the stone or buying the item already made from the Guild Traders, lol.

I'm pretty sure the items on average are running about 25,000; I haven't priced the stones yet.

Yeah, at first I was thinking of just buying the Trait stones, but I was able to find the actual jewelry for sale cheaper than the stones themselves. (around 18-19k, depending on the trait, with Triune going for around 24?) I probably lucked out in that I bought jewelry that was just put up for sale, though.

I know this because I refreshed the trader and the person had added more of them between then lol

So far I've just got the ring in Swift, but will be glad to make you one if you need and one of us has the stone, lol.

I think they are getting that Swift jewelry and stones out of doing trials in Summerset.

Wow, 18-19K is a good price! The lowest I've seen is 22K, but most were 25. Still, it is worth the cost to get the item. And if you farm the stones, you can make and sell the jewelry for researching and make a small fortune, lol.

Oh wow - that is nice and cozy looking. Something like that will do nicely until I have a real amount of gold!

I just added an entry to the housing thread that includes a picture of my Rosy Lion room. That coffer is the one you get as a level-up reward at 18, and you can place an instance of it in each home you own. They share content, so it makes a useful mailbox between your characters. At the same level, you can also select an Imperial bed as a reward.

Ooh, I like the look of that coffer. That will definitely be useful for storing crafting supplies.
Speaking of which, I might make a crafting alt. Rakaand is losing inventory and bank space!

Juggling inventory is the reason I have 8 characters now, most were "Bank Mules" who were there to do nothing but stand in the bank hold inventory. A lot of it was crafting materials, but I also have trouble throwing away good armor sets, lol.

When they added the "Craft Bag" with Plus membership it was one of the greatest things for my game that they have done on an update, I don't know what I'd do without it now, I don't think I could go back to having to count all my crafting inventory as slots in my bank or character's holdings again!

Am I right in thinking that without ESO+ materials have a stack limit (like lockpicks and soul gems) to further annoy?

They have always stacked in 200's - even before the Craft bag was added.

But in the craft bag, stack sizes are much larger. I have several saying 1.5k or more. Since the bag doesn't have limited slots, there would be no point in 200 item stacks there. What I really meant was that without the craft bag, you'd have multiple stacks, taking up multiple inventory slots. As monkey does, I believe.

Correct; just like it used to be before they created that Craft Bag. If you ever retrieve any items from those large stacks in your craft bag, you'll notice it only withdraws in stacks of 200.

The only thing I've ever retrieved from the craft bag - instead of just using it - is Nirncrux. I live in dreams of having enough to exceed a stack.
