Phew. Thanks you two for not posting too many pics! I wonder who posts more actually, both you you, or tmar with his girlz. I think tmar (back in his old Beth forum days) might actually beat the both of you combined! Nice to see Victoria pwn!ng some b0t$ to some Led Zeppelin. In the Light is one of my fave LZ songs, one of those songs the radio never plays. Ha! A dual Lopov-shot to end this picture session! Lopov, what's the lady doing in the Foggy City picture? Cute outfit she's got on. Yeah I know, all this death and blowing up vertibirds, and all I'm interested in is that girl's clothes.

@SubRosa - looks like I made a wrong jump at the top of the ship or I wasn't persistent enough. We'll repeat the exercise once we return to Libertalia. From what I understood, the BoS hates Railroad because they oppose rescuing synths while the BoS would prefer them dead. But apart from that I didn't come across any deeper explanation. I never particularly liked BoS, not even in original Fallout(s), they're too arrogant. @Renee - I usually posts pics every 2nd day, it's a habit I kept over from the old Beth forums. Occasionally I'd post every 3rd day but that mostly happens if I forgot to post a new batch on the supposed day. I don't expect everyone to click on every pic and comment, so no worries. R.I.P. Lopov: There are other Behemoths besides Swan. There is a car henge east of Walden Pond where usually spawns. He is not always there however. It could be you have to be a certain level before he will. There are about half a dozen other places where they will spawn. But not always. I like how there are warning signs all around Boston Common, telling people to stay away. I guess we know why! Victoria killed him with just one or two shots. But she is doing just shy of a thousand points of damage with each missile. Acadian: The normal underwater visibility is worse than Skyrim's. It is so murky you cannot see a thing. Like the other Beth games, I clear it up with some .ini tweaks. I don't think Victoria knew just what to make of Red. Lopov – Wow, with the Snake around, it is not just a bad day to be a synth, but a vertibird, BoS or robot as well! In the next set he continues the body count. Hee - like Renee said, a Lopov shot of Dogmeat! I do like that beret on Snake. * SubRosa – Can’t get your first pic to come up on Imgur – others are fine. Looks like Team Deathclaw beat Team Rader there. Love the action shot in ‘Reloading’ – is that Robbie heroically coming through the fire to help? Heh, a SEAL and her water.

@Renee - everyone of importance gets a Lopov shot! @SubRosa - the BoS will get a visit and they won't like it. Looks like the deathclaw got tired after not being able to break a lock on the chest. Glowing dinosaurs! In the Commonwealth they no longer look as dangerous than in the Capital Wasteland or the Mojave. Moe from Diamond City would approve of the raider's weapon. AquaGirl under and above the water. Is she wearing the jumpsuit underneath her armor? Meeow! @Acadian - I think that the beret fits him great too, I'm glad you mentioned it. It's called a military cap and I haven't yet found any headgear that'd suit him better. It's been on his head almost since the first day after defrosting. Ahh, Fallout 4, I must get back to that puppy again. My trouble is that the poor level design means I end up running over the same part of the map, again and again and again.... I would much rather have a Megaton location mid-map with separate train tunnels and downtown area. Great to see the pics from SubRosa and Lopov! I spent an hour going through them. Lol. SubRosa nailed the crash into the skyscraper perfectly. Oh dear, that ship flight was short! Lopov, I love that first pic walking behind Dogmeat from a month ago. It was framed so well. I just had to download that for a desktop pic. I also loved the Vertibird explosion (from yesterday), that orange explosion looked so neat. And Dogmeat in the 'on board' pic. His front legs are locked for balance- it looks so real. You folk make me want to start playing again. Perhaps after I finish Mad Max and Bioshock collection. Ha!

Honestly, Khajiit feels the level design is really good in Fallout4. This one enjoys exploring the ruins of Boston as well as the outlying areas. The Capital Wasteland was fun to explore as well, but it was a tad bit annoying to this one that you had to use the Metro tunnels to get around downtown. The tunnels themselves were interesting in their own right though. Khajiit just feels downtown Boston is more interesting to explore, and this one especially likes the seaside areas!

I think he means the way the game starts you out in the north west corner of the map. That means you have to go over the same areas like Concord, Wicked Shipping, Walden Pond, Lexington, etc... every game. But you probably don't always get to Mahkra Fishpacking, or Libertalia, or the Wreck of the Northern Star, and so forth.
You can use alternate start mods to start somewhere else. But speaking as someone who has done it, it is really difficult in the early game, since the enemies are all scaled up. It is almost as bad as trying to walk straight north from Goodsprings at the start of a New Vegas game. But at least you can survive starting in downtown Boston. It will just be extremely hard.

Whoa, deathies look like freakin' dinosaurs in this game. Good thing she didn't bring a baseball bat to that fight like raiders do! Is "Snake" flying that vertibird? Or is that some sort of cut-scene? QUOTE(Winter Wolf @ Aug 25 2018, 08:58 PM) You folk make me want to start playing again. Perhaps after I finish Mad Max and Bioshock collection. Ha!
Yeah, you sound just like me, WW. If I had a nickel for every time I said "you folks make me want to start playing X again, but first I have to finish X..."

Khajiit- The problem with the game is I have run over the map so many times that it is actually depressing to have to start a new character. The thought of going anywhere near Concord is enough to make me retire from gaming. I love building a base at Sanctuary but leaving there and heading south makes me want to cry. I still cannot believe that Beth short changed us with the train tunnels. In FO3 I would get lost and explore for hours and hours, before finally popping up on the other side of the map. Here, you do a loop and come back up in the same place... The downtown area is cool to explore, but the large size of Boston takes up a massive part of the map, meaning that we miss out on many smaller settlements that should be in the game. My problem is that I also play the game on Xbox One and the game crashes all the time when I go downtown. I really love exploring the coastline (I agree with you there) while the Glowing Sea and Far Harbor are really neat! Perhaps what I will do next time is just make a new character, grab Dogmeat and just head off to somewhere unique and different and do some settlement building. I will ignore the MQ until after level 20-30. Renee- I can relate to that! Dead Space trilogy, Witcher 3, Borderlands, all the Far Cry's, Doom, Bioshock, Red Dead Redemption- where is the time? SubRosa- How long has it been since you have showed Hecate? She is still looking as fine as I remember. If I need a sniper, I would only hire one girl. A neat pad that she has there. I love the barrel with all those weapons. That looks so dangerous! This post has been edited by Winter Wolf: Aug 27 2018, 07:45 AM

Khajiit hears you Wolfie. Though this one has never personally experienced what you describe, Khajiit can certainly see how that could happen. This one feels they could’ve removed ~2/3 of the player created settlement locations and developed 2 or 3 of them into major established settlements and a handful of minor homesteads. Like maybe BGS sacrificed some content in the name of the player settlements (which Khajiit can kind of understand considering player settlements were the big gimmick for F4, but still).
