Review of the Suzuki DR650 2013
I had a Kawasaki KLR650 2004 and it's essentially the exact same bike, and I agree fully with this guy's review. It's good overall but it doesn't shine in any area. It's not a good highway bike and it's way too heavy to really go offroad with, even with proper tyres. The only thing I disagree with is his view on it as a beginner bike. It's tall but I say it fits the bill nicely, depending on whether or not you like this sort of bike. At least it won't throw you off doing a wheelie and it won't get you a speeding ticket anytime soon  -------------------- Lol bird

That's the thing, I don't want an old one. Old ones are a pain in the rear to have repaired when there's something wrong with it, and there's usually something wrong with it.
They still make the speed limited ones, iirc, but you still need a moped license I'm pretty sure. if there's an eye test, I won't make it. I only want the dang thing for groceries anyways. I'll be darned if I'm going to get old and walk 4km round trip to the grocery store several times a week with my little wheelie cart. -------------------- And in the fury of this darkest hour

Less difficulty of repair, and more difficulty finding parts to use.
It's like a really old car. Besides, I don't want something so old it looks like a bike with a lawnmower motor strapped to it(I've.. seen this. Dude had an old school motorized pedalcycle... bike you could pedal, or start the gas powered lawnmower motor on the back, complete with pull start.
