So how does Norway differ from Sweden lifestyle wise? Are you guys similar or is there a big difference us foreigners may not know about?

Danish, Swedish and Norwegian are considered mutually intelligible and if you speak one, chances are you'll mostly understand the other two, though Danish(and Skåne dialect of Swedish) sounds like they have potatoes in their mouths.

I learned a tiny bit of Danish back in the day, and I watch some Scandinavian shows, so I know a few words. They are often exactly the same, or only slightly different between the countries. For example Tak is Danish for thanks. While I believe Tack is Swedish for the same. And both sound the same when spoken.

It is kind of like the differences between speaking American, English, Irish, or Scottish... wink.gif Sometimes when I watch programming from the UK I have to put on subtitles, because the Scot or Irish accents are so thick I cannot understand half the words.

Khajiit watched the first episode of Black Mirror on Netflix the other night. It’s a British made show and this one felt dumb or something because he had to turn on the subtitles to follow what they were saying. SMH
