QUOTE(mirocu @ Dec 1 2018, 09:50 AM) QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Dec 1 2018, 04:29 PM) on Monday, a one week vacation starts and this one’s birthday is on Thursday! It’s going to be a good week!
Wow, sounds like Khajiit is gonna have a blast! Could be! We’ll just have to see. There are some things going on next week that can make it go either way, but at least Khajiit won’t have work on top of the other stuff. This post has been edited by TheCheshireKhajiit: Dec 1 2018, 05:11 PM

Well, for starters they often eat sandwiches for lunch But I don't know if there are any real differences. It's all pretty much the same except for language. Depending on the region, Norwegian can be either very easy to understand or virtually impossible.

QUOTE(SubRosa @ Dec 1 2018, 03:22 PM) I learned a tiny bit of Danish back in the day, and I watch some Scandinavian shows, so I know a few words. They are often exactly the same, or only slightly different between the countries. For example Tak is Danish for thanks. While I believe Tack is Swedish for the same. And both sound the same when spoken. It is kind of like the differences between speaking American, English, Irish, or Scottish... Sometimes when I watch programming from the UK I have to put on subtitles, because the Scot or Irish accents are so thick I cannot understand half the words. Khajiit watched the first episode of Black Mirror on Netflix the other night. It’s a British made show and this one felt dumb or something because he had to turn on the subtitles to follow what they were saying. SMH

QUOTE(Sakiri @ Dec 1 2018, 10:05 PM) Danish, Swedish and Norwegian are considered mutually intelligible and if you speak one, chances are you'll mostly understand the other two, though Danish(and Skåne dialect of Swedish) sounds like they have potatoes in their mouths.

QUOTE(Sakiri @ Dec 1 2018, 10:30 PM) Swedish tends to be slurred together and I have to make people speak slower for me to understand them. Sadly, it's still easier if they just speak English, so they usually do.
If I ever meet you, I will just speak Swedish fast to annoy you QUOTE(Dark Reaper @ Dec 2 2018, 04:26 AM) Well it's December and hopefully at the end of the month I'll finally get that 45ACP revolver out of layaway.
