I’ve been at Hilton Head for the last few days during the golf tournament. We stay in a condo on the harbor (view from balcony), which is a perfect spot for people watching. Toward the end of the day as golfers come off the 18th hole, their galleries have to walk around the harbor to get to the buses that will take them out to the parking lots. (If you zoom in you can see that the lighthouse is still wearing the tournament’s plaid. They put it on for last year’s 5oth anniversary and decided to leave it for the year.) The guys who stay in one of the ground level condos near us throw legendary daytime parties. They regularly invite people who are walking past to join them (by yelling), which entails the newcomers climbing through the bushes and then being hoisted over the concrete wall. It’s usually young women whose platform sandals weigh more than their clothing. This year they found someone new: Piper on Cooler. He played several songs from that position.

Is that the Harbor Town golf course? It looks really familiar from my time playing Links 386.

QUOTE(Lopov @ Jul 18 2019, 07:05 AM) Thanks all.
Right now I have to adapt to its size, driving it on some of our narrow streets and inside tight garages can be a challenge.
Ah, you really needed the Ford Tardis. Smaller on the outside, larger on the inside. Just be glad it's not a Galaxie. which were the exact opposite.

Thanks all vol. 2. @ghastley - Renee just showed me the other Galaxie too. They look great. Ford Tardis is, I suppose, what's called Ford Transit in our parts. @mALX - the clearance shouldn't be a problem unless I'll be having a roof box mounted. But thanks for the warning.

QUOTE(Grits @ Dec 18 2019, 10:18 PM) This morning in Myrtle Beach, SC. It was cold, but I'd rather be cold at the beach than pretty much anywhere else. mALX..? In downtown Wilmington, NC. Close up! I wasn't letting you go to the beach without me!!! I absolutely LOVE the beach pic, that is just gorgeous! (and of course I love the pictures of my squirrely self, lol).
