QUOTE(Acadian @ Oct 29 2019, 07:32 PM) Edit: Oh, the time of the meet is normally 5PM EST (4PM CST I think). I can flex earlier or later. Ghastley said he is traffic dependent so that sounds like earlier might not work for him and it sounds like a later time might not work for Khajiit.
4 should give us an hour before we’ll need to log, but that should give us enough time to run a dungeon if we get on it right away.

QUOTE(RaderOfTheLostArk @ Oct 30 2019, 02:15 PM) Cincy and I will most certainly be there. I'm down for a group dungeon if we have the right amount of people for it. Where are we going to start out at? And have we decided on the normal time then?
EDIT: Khajiit, do you have wares voice chat on Discord? I am curious as to what the desertwalker sounds like.
I was never able to get it working, unfortunately. I may play with it tomorrow and see if I can get it working. I know it can be done, but the Discord interface is wonky with ESO. This post has been edited by TheCheshireKhajiit: Oct 31 2019, 12:44 AM

Khajiit = King Coin couldn't get his mike working either; but he was able to hear us on the Discord while playing and he would just type his answers in the Chat Box (Chorrolites Guild Chat) so we could all see them. If you need to do that it is perfectly understandable. It helps if you are on Discord to hear what we are doing next; which direction to go, etc. Also; Uleni couldn't get his to work; and he sometimes drops in to say "Hi" on the Discord (as does Elizabeth Hollow!) One good place to go is in Deshaan = Forgotten Crypts (Public Dungeon) has numerous bosses in it; there is a Dolmen right outside the door of it; and a Delve right beside the Dolmen so we would have plenty to do for Plunder Skulls all in one small spot!

Public dungeons are cake for Brenna, she routinely invades Bad Man’s Hollow for the Witches Fest Dremora Skull for public dungeons. I would like for us to do a group dungeon so we can get the Dremora Skull for big dungeons.

I would like for us to do a group dungeon so we can get the Dremora Skull for big dungeons. I've been taking Pia through Fungal Grotto 1 every night (after 2 a.m. Eastern Time every night) with just one other girl I play with a lot. It is the easiest group dungeon and gives you a bunch of purple Plunder Skulls in addition to the one gold (plus a skill point if you haven't done it before). For that dungeon; all you need is one person who can take the aggro and one DPS; keep your own selves healed and it is a fun romp. Not sure if there is a Pledge for it or not that night; but I've been going regardless just because it is the easiest one to do for only a couple characters. (Buffy can solo it; but Pia needs a second person with her, lol). However; that said = we have two new members whose characters may not be up to a high enough level to do the Group Dungeons yet (I can't remember if they have a Level limit still or not; but they used to) = or especially Renee at this point (since she just started yesterday) might not be up for such intense combat dungeons. This Guild Meet might have a large enough membership that a group dungeon would be off the list anyway; they only allow 4 at a time. When are you usually online? Maybe we could get a few of us together to run Fungal Grotto on a different night? This post has been edited by mALX: Oct 31 2019, 06:51 PM

I've avoided the group dungeons, just because of time. You have to get the skull from the final boss, which means working through all the rest first. The Public dungeons give you a skull from the first one you meet, and then you can just leave. If I run into the mini-dolmen/Dark Fissure thing, then that gives the same skull as the Public dungeons, and I skip them.
I'd probably do the Publics for the large number of bosses in one place if i was chasing a lot of the purples, but too much time is already used up with the crafting dailies.
The worst skull/time ratio is probably going to be arenas. I don't expect many of the Dremora page from those will be in the traders after the event. Trials at least have multiple participants, so more supply.

So I realized why I was able to kill one of the WBs on my own in Craglorn, and it's not because I'm a super l33t pro-G4mer (I don't really think that anyway). I noticed that the spellfiends that spawned, for whatever reason, didn't attack me. I thought maybe I just didn't trigger them properly. And lately, I've had enemies where, if I positioned myself in the right way, they wouldn't attack me.
Anyway, the reason why it clicked that the WB battle was bonked in my favor was because I just tried a little ago fighting a couple more WBs on my own there, and...well, didn't go so hot. Died on the one and had to run away on the other, because those enemies did trigger and attack me while I was trying to break these crystals that would release the WBs afterwards.
So my vote goes to Craglorn content for Friday.

Back from a great guild meeting/fun run. We pretty quickly had Buffy, Blossom (ghastley), Cincy (Rader), Paedre (Rider) and Pia (mALX) together at the guild hall. Rider, either through graciousness or perhaps not feeling too well offered that she only really wanted to go if we needed a fourth for a group dungeon. With five of us, she bowed out. With that decided, we set our sights on Redbeard's pledge of Direfrost Keep (Normal) and the other four of us set off. Buffy was healer, Cincy the tank and Pia & Blossom provided the dps. The dungeon went very smoothly with everyone doing a great job in their roles. After turning in the pledge, we popped over to Stonefalls to get Cave of Memories WB for Cincy - which also went very smoothly. By then, Acadian needed a break and mALX needed dinner. . . so Buffy had to process her loot and log off. Thanks to Rider for showing up at the start as a backup. Thanks also to the wonderful group of four we had. We missed those who could not be there and hope to see you at the next meeting!

When we do run a group dungeon it is on normal and one of the easier ones. But no, our adventuring is totally geared to how many and who we have at the meeting. If you and Renee had showed up, we would have put together a very different fun run - geared to making the least experienced players we have feel very comfortable. We have gone out and run delves, public dungeons, hunted dolmens and world bosses. Even done house tours to show off the decorating skills of some of our guildies. In today's case, we happened to have the right numbers (4) and experience levels to very comfortably support a straightforward normal group dungeon. The main thing is just getting to spend some time together. More than once, we've geared our agenda to supporting a desired goal of one member who, for example, needs help defeating one particular world boss or clearing a certain public dungeon. Or even skyshard hunting. Most of us feel pretty much the same way but I think Buffy even more so. She comes in several variants but primarily enjoys playing as a healer. As such, she is all about supporting others so it comes very naturally to make her objective become that of those she is supporting. She is never happier than when following and supporting someone when her skills can help them accomplish their goals. For example when supporting a group vs a world boss, her thinking is very different from a damage dealer. Though still a contest between her and the boss, Buffy's thinking toward the boss is 'I can heal and buff my allies more effectively than you can hurt them!'

QUOTE(Lopov @ Nov 1 2019, 09:12 PM) *Lopov jealously reads the report from work* Guild meetings sound like fun! Do you always take on some group dungeon? Can players like us that haven't found this dungeon in-game yet, also take part in it? The main reason to meet once a month this way is to just get together and have fun together at least once every month = so we always meet the first Friday of every month. We can do things together at other times too; but this one Meet every month is a set thing to make sure we don't go months without getting together. We usually talk about it before the meet and take suggestions about what everyone wants to do; then decide what suits best (usually dependent on how many we will have for the Meet; on what level the Players coming are; and what everyone wants most to do). When we have a few low level characters for a Meet; sometimes we bring out our own low level characters and all go for "Skyshard Runs" = Every 3 skyshards you find gives the Player 1 Skill Point to spend; so at an early level it really helps build up the newer Characters. One time we went fishing for the Meet; Hazmick took us to several places to fish for trophy fishes. We've had Meets where we just sat and talked; or our characters danced and swam together; etc. Another we went and visited each other's houses. We've had Meets where we did World Bosses; dungeons; delves; etc - We even talked about going to Cyrodiil and doing some PvP stuff; though we never did get around to that one. It just all depends on what everyone wants to do; how many will be there; what level characters we have; etc. This post has been edited by mALX: Nov 2 2019, 03:04 AM
