hmm well sheep are quite dull. It is said if you were to lie down in front of a herd of sheep and the first jumped over you, you could stand up and walk away and the rest of the herd would jump at the exact same place where you were once lying(sp.)
so once one sheep did it it doesn't surprise me that the rest followed.

Tried it. Worked pretty well but the pay off wasn't as good as I expected. Appearently sheep aren't good soldiers due to the hooves. Though their thick wool makes great body armour.

I've just had a thought that I could try this out in a game - I'm sure that one of my World of Warcraft characters has engineering high enough to create a mechanical sheep, and I'm wondering if I could use it to control some of the sheep critters that wonder around...
